I bought this artificial grass to spruce up the backyard a little and give my Basset hound a place to lie down and to eat. The grass is fairly soft to the touch but she has a favorite cushion I place on the grass, and we keep her water bowl and feeding bowl there, too. Her name is Sadie and we call this patch of beautiful green Sadie's yard. It is surrounded by pea gravel. We do have some grass in our yard, but with two inside dogs that come out to play, all three are just brutal on the grass. Our yard is not very large and they run in the same spots continuously. And dig, dig, dig. I saw one of our Boxers grab a bush at the base with her teeth and pull it out of the ground. Very IMPRESSIVE, but oh so aggravating. This grass has shown no signs of wear and water will drain through it. I poured a thin layer of sand on it to help keep it in place, especially on the corners. This arrived quickly after ordering, within 4 days. It was exactly as described in the listing. And it is exactly what I was hoping it would be I'm putting it on my back porch as a play area for my baby chicks and goslings. I like the fact that it is easy to rinse clean with a hose and it drains the water well. Once my chicks are raised up I will leave it on the back porch as a place for my dogs to lounge around in the hot summer afternoon. It was easy to use and it looks beautiful. It is a decent artificial grass that is sturdy enough for the uses I'm going to be putting it to. It is a little expensive for its size but all in all I'm happy with my order. ... show more

I selected this item so that when I go setup at a craft fair (indoors) I can throw this down like a rug and have a country-esque vibe for my little setup. This "grass" is very easy to use and roll out and have a very nice look and feel to it. It seems like it would be very sturdy and long term, especially for my periodic use of it, which makes it a great value. This looks so good and makes my deck look so bright and clean. It's heavy but not too heavy. Just enough for it not to blow around at all. It has a few small holes but should be able to drain water without any issues anyway. After cutting it in a few places I was able to make it fit my whole 10 by 15ft deck perfectly and with turf to spare. That brings me to the fact that I was worried if I would be able to cut through the rug since it is a bit heavy but it was so easy to customize using just a box cutter. This grass seems pretty darn good to me. I haven't had it a long time but just unrolling it on first glance. It was just really nice. I haven't had it sitting in the sun because we're still we're right at the end of the winter months. So we'll see how that goes, but from first look and laying it out it's beautiful. I have absolutely no complaints about it. I've had other fake grass which was nice too and this one stands up pretty well to the others I I've had.
