I received this rice cooker just today, and within an hour I'd already made my first pot of rice. It came out PERFECTLY. It was cooked to perfection, fluffy, and the exact texture I've been missing. I've been making rice on the stovetop and struggling. It was always either undercooked, too much water
, too sticky, too dry, etc etc etc. It was so frustrating because I'm a decent cook but I just couldn't manage rice. This simple machine is foolproof. You don't have to do any thinking besides measuring the rice and the water. It was super easy to clean up too. I chose this one because I try to stay away from anything non-stick, and this has the stainless bowl. The price was great, too. I was nearly tempted by some of the cuter, more colorful rice cookers, but in the end, I'm glad I stuck with this one.

Great little rice cooker! Love the stainless steel bowl
Size: 6-Cup(cooked) / 1.4Qt.
Style: Rice Cooker
Love this little rice cooker. I use it for rice and quinoa. It's simple, and works great. Have your grains ready in 20 min. To those complaining that it's not non-stick, it's stainless steel. So it's not teflon, nor ceramic. Yes there's a bit of cooked rice at the bottom. But I soak it in soapy water
for 15 min and it comes right off. Really not a big deal. I'll take that over eating PFAS any day! To those complaining about how much rice it cooks. It cooks up to 4 cups of *cooked* rice (so 2 cups of dry rice). I believe it says this in the description but a lot of the folks reviewing this aren't understanding the difference between cups of cooked v. dry rice. Anyway, great little rice cooker. Highly recommend.

Makes quite a spirting mess on the counter!
Size: 6-Cup(cooked) / 1.4Qt.
Style: Rice Cooker
I have the 3 cup rice cooker and only made 2 cups of rice but what a mess the cooker made! I cannot even imagine what three cups would have done. The lid was covered with an edging of residue on the outside as well. I was shocked at the mess this thing made and am not sure I want to keep it since it
now means cleaning the counter after every session of rice making.

I previously owned the non-stick variant of this product and bought this as a replacement, since I'm currently working through getting rid of all my non-stick kitchenware. Functionally, this is identical to the non-stick variant. That's to say, it makes acceptable rice with a simple interface. The st
ainless steel version is about $10 -$15 more than the non-stick version, which I think is a reasonable cost increase for the stainless steel bowl. The inner bowl itself feel heavy and durable, and I have no doubt that it will last for a long time. As far as I can tell, the inner bowl is also uncoated. For the first couple uses, the machine has a slight burning plastic smell. However, this seems to subside with additional uses.

The 6 cup (3 cup uncooked) rice cooker is so tiny. We usually consumes 2-3 cups of rice, so this one is perfect for us. But if you ever need to cook more than 3 cup of uncooked rice, buy the bigger one. It does make a smelting smell in warm mode. The smell comes from the square heating element for th
e warm mode. One way to fix it is to just remove the heating element. If you are electrician, you may consider screw a small metal place between heating element and the screw base. A cat food can lid will do.

This is the 4th rice cooker I have owned. My first 2 were aluminum pans, the last one was a Teflon pan, and I really wanted to move to a stainless steel one this time. Love the heavy-duty stainless-steel pan, it feels like it will last for a long time. I saw a lot of complaints about how badly the ri
ce sticks. I have to say that it does stick a little (depending on how long you let it sit on the warm setting before removing it), but it's not that hard to clean. I have found that if you fill it with warm water when you start you kitchen clean-up it will be ready to wash by the time you're done cleaning. Totally worth it!

Easy to cook, easy to clean.
Size: 6-Cup(cooked) / 1.4Qt.
Style: Rice Cooker
I've cooked rice without a rice cooker for many years, but have found this rice cooker to be a nice addition to my kitchen. We use it once or twice a week. The rice cooks consistently, doesn't need monitoring, and keeps warm until you're ready to eat. I've cooked both white and brown rice in it, and
both came out cooked properly. Highly recommend.

I have this one and the larger version. Love that the inside is stainless. It's beyond easy to clean. Simply let water sit in it for a half hour and literally you can remove the rice with a soft sponge after. Cooks rice to perfection - both brown and white.

I use this every day, sometimes more than once. It works, it cooks my oatmeal and rice as advertised. It does stick to the bottom a bit, but my main complaint is that it boils over and makes a mess. Even with just a single serving. The bigger the serving, the bigger the mess. Nonetheless, it’s a dece

Worth the money. Happy with it. Could have given 5 star if there was button to turn it off. Only two options are cook and warm, no button to turn off while plugged in. Also I see discoloration after certain weeks. But I think that happens with most steel utensils .
