I cannot tell you how many times I've used this little rice cooker. It's perfect. I cannot eat gluten, so I eat a lot of rice, but I don't like to have lots of cooked rice on hand. This is perfect for throwing in a serving of rice for lunch or dinner. My only very minor complaint is that even with only a half cup of rice, the bubbles will come out of the lid and the lid will be extra gross when you clean it. It's not a huge deal, and it's not getting rice water on the counter, but it's something to be aware of. The kids fly away from their nest, and I decided to buy this smaller one, which I really like much more than my previos one because the rice doesn’t stick. I also use it for cooking soups, and stew. I really like the Aroma small rice cooker with one complaint. It works great mostly. I like how I don't have to rinse the rice first. The measuring lines in the pot are hard to see because the lining is black. In the past, I owned Aroma pots with light gray linings and I could see the measuring lines just fine. The attached picture shows the measuring lines much better than how I can actually see them. I believe there are measuring lines in the cup, but they are super hard to see. When I make rice, I just fill up the cup with rice, pour it in, and make my best guess where the bottom line is in the pot. This is a perfect size rice cooker for smaller meals, simple to use and to clean. Only small issue is the water level can rise and bubble over the lid a tad bit but nothing extreme. I recommend, good value for the price.
