I'll echo the other very positive comments about this eye-catching chair. First, it has Nordic-style good looks. The beautifully curved seat and legs and floating, hemispherical back are just about as perfect as it gets aesthetically. (The style is evocative of an Eames chair.) Second, this chair is made entirely of natural wood and the finishing is remarkably refined for this price point. The walnut stain is just about perfect (both color-wise and in its uniformity). The charcoal fabric is simple and understated. The feet have silicon sliders that will not scratch wood floors. Third, this is an exceptionally easy chair to put together. Just one bolt to join the x-shaped legs together and four more to attach them to the seat. We had both of our chairs assembled in 12 minutes. The chairs are very efficiently packed in easy-to-carry boxes (and are surprisingly light). There was absolutely no transit damage at all - not even a minor scratch. Finally, and most importantly, the chairs are strong and rigid and very comfortable to sit in. I'm actually astonished that such good quality, beautifully-designed chairs are available at this price point. If you're considering this chair, go ahead and purchase with confidence. I love this chair. I bought two in different colors. The styling is superb. A comfortable sit as well. It was easy to assemble. This one accidentally had a wrong part. The front and rear legs are different and I got 3:1 instead of 2:2 of the sizes. I contacted the manufacturer and they quickly sent the right part. Great customer service (very friendly). This is a "get what you pay for" type deal. The overall style of the chair is nice, but it looks cheap. The top half of the chair is bonded to the lower half, so you're going to see a seam. It's not solid wood. The chair is a little narrow. They will serve their purpose for the interim. Putting together 4 of them, with each chair using 12 screws using an allen wrench was a bit obnoxious, but what do you expect. They feel sturdy. If you're not looking to break the bank, these will add a nice flare to your breakfast area without draining your bank account. I've attached a photo so you can them. My suggestion to the manufacturer... Go seamless with the design, so it looks nicer than it does, you won't have the issues i see some people are having with the 2 parts not being aligned. The chair is just what I had been looking for. My son and I share a 400 sf studio and I needed a small, comfortable chair for my space. This fits the bill perfectly, easy to assemble (I did not buy the swivel attachment), the wood is beautiful, the fabric is quality; and it is comfortable so sit in for periods of time. I did purchase a thin gel chair pad, but only because I have an issue with left lower back. That being said, it is also what I like about the upright position because it does support better than a soft chair. The pricing seems fair for the quality/size, but in a good way. The wood on one leg has a series of indentations on the inside (not visible), but does not appear to be a manufacturing defect; it is strictly Mother Nature. Bought this chair for my office, not to actually sit on it but I liked the style and it fit in with the mid-century look. Now it's my full time office chair (I work from home) and I've taken it over my expensive leather one. This chair has amazing back support. decent chair overall. I think you could use this chair as an office chair, dining chair, or just a decorative sitting chair for a living space. It sits a little lower than we like, but not too bad. I would not recommend this chair for larger or very tall people. I don't think it can support heavier people over time, especially the back. But I think the back support is decent for average people. When the package was delivered, one of the box's sides had a huge rip, and was "fixed" with some flimsy packaging tape. Also, no hardware or tools were included in the package. It would have been a huge hassle to return everything just for a few screws. So i had to purchase 11 screws separately (size m6x20mm). Either way, they should have been included. Chair was fairly easy to put together. I think the chair's wood areas can easily be scratched, so handle with care. Design-wise, it's a cool and different looking chair compared to all other "mid century modern" style chairs, but if we were looking again, might go with a different one. ... show more
