I bought a pair of the same brand and style at a store and the ones I just bought from Amazon are so much better. These ones have a much better sole and are way more comfortable. The soul has a nice arch and cushion, and I don’t even need to put my own insert into these. As other have mentioned, these run maybe half size large. Ariat boots are my absolute favorite boot brand out there. They are always so beautifully constructed, balanced, sturdy and nice looking too! This pair is no exception. Very comfortable and fit true to size. I do not wear ultra thick socks though. The only reason I gave them a 4 and. Not a 5 is because my new black pair do not look like real leather. The brown ones are obviously leather. One other thing I’ve noticed is the edge of the top of the boot wear off and shows the lining. It’s noticeable because the shaft is wide. I loved these but had to send back. They were way too big. Will try a smaller size. Question: I accidentally requested the funds to go back to my Amazon account instead of returning it to the method of payment I had used. How do I get that rectified. I don’t even have an Amazon credit account?????
