This is a supper fun and authentic looking replica of a standing coin operated game machine. Galaga and Ms PAC Man seem like quintessential old school games and both are on the device. The controllers work well and game play feels almost like the arcade. Many say it’s simple to put together but it takes some time and patience. The only real negative is the weight of the machine. It is not heavy enough for real game play as it will move if on a non carpet floor. My solution was to buy 50lbs of weight to place inside the machine a weight it down. This is an awesome video game that is well made and not as heavy as I previously assumed. However, it will take some reasonable time to assemble. The only complaint was that some of the directions are confusing because the diagrams are sometimes in an awkward view. I order mines at the end of November 2024, received it the first week of December 2024 and let it sit in the box a few weeks. When I finally put it together I noticed I was missing a piece. Luckily it was the piece needed at the very top, piece B2 so I was able to still put the game together and play it. I went onto Amazon, went to support, and was sent to the Arcade 1 Up website. I sent in my concerned and someone contacted me shortly after via email and asked for the serial and model number on the arcade, my address, and a picture of the piece I was missing from the instruction book. I received the missing piece in the mail maybe a couple weeks later I can’t remember. I’ve seen others complaining about missing pieces but it was very easy for me to get the piece.     • Great ms pac man machine
I hesitated to purchase this for a while as I was considering buying the full size cabinet original version in order to have a truly authentic gameplay experience. I am happy I went with this model instead of the original for several reasons. First, the gameplay while not exactly 100 percent is very true to the original, I would say 98 percent with the joystick the only thing lacking (plastic vs metal). The size is close enough to the full cabinet and is actually better for most situations since you can more easily move it and put other arcade1up machines next to it. First time I’ve purchased this product. The diy assembly instructions were very clear and easy to follow once parts were in order for assembly it went smoothly, needed some helpers for the large components towards end of diy. Great family project that everyone can enjoy.

    • Missing pieces
We were so excited to receive our very first arcade machine. I had heard so much about it and living in Malaysia, this was going to be something really special. The 1.5 week wait made the expectation grow even more. What was supposed to be a joy turned out the exact opposite. We quickly discovered there were missing parts in our shipment. UPS didnt help either as it appeared that they didnt do much to handle the machine with care during transport. When it arrived the box looked like it went through the title match with Mike Tyson. ARCADE1UP was also completely unhelpful when contacted to help send us the missing parts. It was just the screw set and 2 small wood panels so it would have been so easy for them to do so. Apparently they wont help if machine is delivered outside the USA. What a silly policy to have if they want to sell more machines. Returning the item from Malaysia was another nightmare. Amazon was the hero here and had been very helpful throughout the return process. The problem was the waiting.... waiting for pickup .... waiting for refund..... waiting to be reimbursed for return shipping. Waiting nightmare galore. Till today (1 month later), I am still waiting for my refund to be processed by my credit card company (because its not in the USA) although Amazon had already approved it a few days ago. I do still want an arcade machine but am thinking hard if its going to be from ARCADE1UP. ... show more
