    • Got fungus gnats? Use the insecticide with the fungicide!

The first time I used the bio insecticide for fungus gnats, I was hugely disappointed - it didn't seem to make a difference at all! Then I switched to the systemic bonide insect control granules, which worked a treat at first... but the treatment didn't last 8 weeks, it's not cost effective for the number of plants I have, and it only kills larvae. I went back to the Google drawing board and found a ton of other products that also only kill larvae. So I went back to the arber website and poked around a bit, because arber is the only product that claims to kill both larvae and adults. I found that it's recommended to water with the insecticide and fungicide (and spray with the insecticide) every 5 days until the gnats are under control, then use every 2 weeks for upkeep. And THAT combo really did the trick after 3 applications (though my zz plant, which got redonk infested when moved it to the living room when work was being done in my bedroom, could have used 4 full every-5-day treatments the first time). It's clear by the empty gnat traps in my plants that this combination really does the trick for larvae and adults. And it's way more cost effective (and less work than mixing in granules) over the long term. Win!! ... show more

It took about a month and you have to be brutal cutting off the black spots leaves and not let them touch any other leaves on any other plant but four weeks later you have baby leaves growing back on your plant and it isn’t just two bare stems.

I have like 60+ plants and suddenly this spring (2024) there were these little white bugs all over them and they spread through the house like crazy. Took me a while, and some help from others, to figure out they were MealyBugs. This Arber insecticide (yellow bottle!) worked like a champ! I had to spray all the plants for about 7 days in a row, and had to quarantine some of them outside for a while as well. Now I use it preventatively. Every time I water I spray the plants. It not only keeps them bug free but keeps their leaves clean as well. A definite winner! ... show more

I purchased this on Amazon and also continued purchasing from a local store. I spent a lot of money and time but these did nothing for my plants, and I still had gnats galore after a few months

I have some hydroponics inside my home and I’m having an issue with thrips. I had a medium infestation (if it’s high then I just get rid of the plants) and I did some research and decided to try out this pesticide. It’s been a month and half of using it and I gotta say that it does work. You see all those little leaves on my jalapeño plant? That’s because I left my plant bald. It was that bad. And leaves are finally growing back healthy! I’m seeing a thrip here and there but my leaves look better and there’s minimal to none damage to my leaves. I’m doing the weekly treatment so far and when I see no more thrips I’ll do the every 2 weeks treatment for maintenance. This is definitely a keeper. I also had an issue with gnats on my indoor potted soil plants and they’re gone. No more gnats. ... show more

TBH I’m not sure what to rate this. It does it’s job but is intense, perhaps I sprayed too much-that part is not clear in the instructions, but I recommend anyone goes lightly to feel it out. My prayer plant in 14” pot: the dirt contracted! Like 3 inches lower than it was before I sprayed it. The product I used prior to ordering this was bonide. Bonide let me douse a plant. I will continue to use this but I’ll use a lighter hand! ... show more
