    This rack is constructed from the top down rather than the bottom up (a little different approach), but I feel it is a very sturdy rack once put together. I especially like the ease of moving the rack on the casters, which are high quality and work very smoothly.

    overall, this is a very good rack. if you want shock/vibration/resonance resistance, look elsewhere, but you will have to pay considerably more. overall, i rate this as a good value ~ went together well, no issues. BUT, vibration, such as dropping something in the floor, can cause the CD player to skip...some antivibe feet underneath it [the player] might solve the problem [we'll see!], and they are relatively cheap. one of the reasons i ordered this one was because it comes equipped w/casters, which roll very well ~ super convenient when you want to change connections. again, the only reason that i didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't have much vibration resistance, BUT this is not something it's designed to do, nor is it something that the manufacturer claims. ... show more

      • Where's the bloody instructions
    It came with no instructions whatsoever. It is not an intuitive assembly and I wasted a good deal of my time and hurt my back as well. I would have been happy to pay double for something that went together easily AND HAD INSTRUCTIONS

      • Love my new audio rack
    I needed a new rack for my basement system after I hooked up my vintage cassette deck again and two Minidisc players. I love the number of shelves and love the height. For a tall person I can use my turntable on the top shelf with ease. Locking wheels. Looks great.
