So the stand said it was for a 30 gallon tank but our long 20 gallon fit perfect on top. The same size tank dies not fit on the bottom so we got a 10 gallon for the bottom shelf. I read reviews that said it wasn't a sturdy stand but it's really not too bad (I gave 4 stars for sturdiness but I would have given 4.5 if it were an option) I think once the bottom tank is filled that will increase the sturdiness. Seems sturdy and looks nice than other metal shelves of this type. It would be nice if they added an actual shelf on the bottom for storage. Low number of parts and simple instructions, but MAKE SURE TO NOT TIGHEN THE BOLTS UNTIL THE END. I did not listen and ended up having to tear the thing apart on the last step. You cannot fasten the two support beams unless all of the bolts are lose. ... show more

The 29 gallon stand fit my 20 gallon LONG perfectly! Go by your tank measurements when ordering The part your tank touches is one smooth piece, no worries about uneven surfaces. The legs go inside of this rim so the weight is supported by the legs not the bolts (as it should be but isn't always) Plenty sturdy when assembled despite how small and light the box seemed, I have large rowdy dogs & I'm not worried (about the tank glass yes sometimes but not the stand) It assembles so easily it's ridiculous. All of the holes lined up, where smooth, and free of burs. All of the bolts were properly threaded. Nothing was scratched up or rusty. Just make sure the holes for the stabilizing "V" brackets are on the same side when assembling and you're golden. ... show more

We made shelves to go on both the top and bottom section. Currently have it holding a 29gallon on top and 10 gallon on bottom. No issues at all.

Was easy to assemble tank fits nicely it seems sturdy an good value compared to similar stands from local pet store that were double the price only two things I don't like is 1 it has no shelf on bottom but one can be added wich is my plan 2. it needs adjustable feet so you can get it level

Very easy to assemble. At first when I assembled it, it felt like it was wobbly, but when I placed weight on it, the legs all balanced out and work fine. I added rubber pads to the feet to protect my floors
