This stand has a solid top that fully supports every square inch of your aquarium and is ideal for supporting your rectangular tank. The finish and contemporary design compliment many different styles of home decor. I saw the damged corners when I unboxed the stand and decided to assemble it anyway because (1) I thought I can just face the damaged areas to the back and (2) the thing was super heavy that I didn't want to bring it to a UPS dropoff location. Overall, it is a nice stand for < $200. Very easy to assemble; took less than 30 minutes starting from unpacking the thing. Only need a screwdriver. I like that it has no built-in shelves inside; also like the large openings in the back. Turns out, as flexible as the stand was, the damged areas must face outwards because of the door. Maybe I should have returned and got another one; but probably still not worth the trouble (it's really heavy; I have forgotten how heavy these MDF boards are but now I'm reminded again). ... show more

Everything arrived in good condition, even came early. Easy to put together. I have a 47 gallon lagoon all in one tank on it now. Seems super sturdy but being compressed wood kind of freaks me out even though the stand is supposed to hold 650 pounds and my tank probably weighs 500 pounds at the moment but will give another review in the next few months if anything changes. ... show more

Really liked pictures and wanted a stand for my 40g tank. This is pressed wood like ikea. The quality sucks. The gaps around the door aren't even even. There are many light scratches and debris around that didn't come up with a wet towel, maybe will with something more aggressive. I honestly would have kept it if it at least looked nice, since it said it will work for 40g tank but I'm glad it doesn't. It's an investment what is going in that tank.. wouldn't trust this pressed wood to hold 460lbs of weight. Deff returning. If u have a smaller tank and don't mind the misfits on the picture maybe this is for u. I personally would constantly worry especially if I spilled some water on it, it's a water tank afterall ... show more

It’s the perfect size for my tank. Some of the pieces were scratched but it’s hidden in the back. The swing door is a tad bit off but it stills closed properly.

The stand arrived in a timely manner. Upon unpacking it, I pulled out several pieces that were chipped. And one of the mounting pieces was also chipped. There is a big chip on the bottom. Right in front. That is quite noticeable. I’m not happy with it.

I have owned several of these stand and always thought they were nice for the price. I got one today (7/12/22) and was sad to see that they have changed the design to use plastic brackets and laminated covering instead of epoxy coating/paint. The new design has sharp edges (old design had rounded edges) and glue exposed at the edges of the laminate. The stand still functions but I am sad to see the modifications that have been made most likely to reduce manufacturing costs, ... show more
