  • Quite strong, one speed, no on/off option
Size: 480 GPH
It’s great! Especially for the price. Lots of power, great flow rate, creates a great current. Very quiet. Sticks well with suction provided I thought there would be a way to choose if it is on or off without having to unplug.

  • First died then replaced. Strong recommendations
Size: 800 GPH
had the smallest one which seemed to really wip the water around but got clogged and eventually crapped out. No obstruction just refused to operate but got really hot unplugged it and it never turned on again, replaced it with a bigger one (refunded) and they seemed to of sent me one with a yellow impeller it big seems strong(Maybe issues were cause by bad impeller theyve now replaced?) Or they were being nice and sent me a better model i dont know either way ill update Recommendations- If you have any small plants (javamoss) it will clog this for a solutionyou can put this thing in a bottle and make a diy filter(inspiration from King of DIY youtube, he has guide but you will have to modify) I dropped this thing in a lava rock weighted bottle stuck to the bottom and let it push the water up and it doesnt clog(use of foam/sponge to block debris from entering but allow water to flow. got PVC? A dome and a few pipes you can do something similar, pushing the water wherever you want. keep this on a strip to be safe. overall its worth the money but not if these keep stb. ... show more

  • Fantastic for the price
Size: 1300 GPH
I bought the large 1300gpg version over a year ago for my 75 gallon Cichlid tank. It's a simple, no-thrills power head that does it's job. It works great for the tank, it keeps good surface movement for oxygenating the water, and the down flow current keeps the majority of the waste suspended in the water column. It also provides just enough flow to keep my fish occupied with swimming and helps curb aggression. Has worked flawlessly for over a year. I recently bought 2 more to mix water in a container for my new saltwater tank. Works great for that too. If you just need a basic, cheap, no-frills wavemaker, this is the one ... show more

  • Died after Two Months
Size: 480 GPH
This was a great little circulation pump -- while it lasted. After 2 months it started making a loud sound and no amount of rearrangement could fix it. Turns out the little whirling blades inside had cracked and were making the loud noise. My aquarium guy looked at it and rolled his eyes. Cheaply made, he said. Would really like a refund or replacement but past the window of opportunity. ... show more

  • Suction cup not so good
Size: 2100 GPH
The first one I got worked for a few months then quit. Contacted the seller I received one response about cleaning it which I had already done. No luck after several tries. No further contact from the seller, so I won’t be buying them anymore. The suction cup doesn’t hold so well after about a month. ... show more

  • Great Beginner Wavemaker!
Size: 1300 GPH
Great quality for the price. You can’t hear them at all. They work very well and have a good durable build. Easy to install and use. I recommend this for new reefers!

  • The best thing a bought for my 240 gallon tank
Size: 480 GPH
I place this pump in the center of the left panel of the 240 gallon tank. I have it pointed to botton middle of the front panel to blow all the first poop on the sand. My tank is filtered by 7 sponge filters and the sand have far less poop on it. My tank has platies, tetras, an angelfish and a loach and some plecos. It does not harm my small fish, but it can probably kill fry. ... show more
