I had bought a fountain package from a retailer that had a floating platform, led lights, nozzles and this brand and model of pump. I had it several years running it daily in my pond for 16 hours a day except for a few winter months when I removed it to keep it from freezing. The pump eventually froze up and wouldn't work. I was happy when I found it on Amazon for $125 because I figured it would be more expensive. It was a perfect fit, I just had to cut the cord and re-wire it to the old one's 100' cord to reach the middle of my pond. The pump was easy to attach to the hose in my pond. The feet have suction cups which keeps it in place. I like that it doesn’t have a fine mesh filter that would always clog like others I’ve had. Pumps water efficiently for my small (400gal) pond

This pump is feeding a be large above ground filter. Pump is down about 4 feet lower than the filter and has no problem pumping up to the filter. Flow is great and no issues with clogging.

We use the 7000 gph pump to pump through our pond filter and it also goes through an aeration sprayer. We converted our pool to a pond and needed a reliable pump to filter and aerate it. Our pump runs submerged with a prefilter system that keeps debris out of it. Although our pond, being a natural pond, is pretty green but not slimy. We installed the pump on May of 22' and now, a year later, it is still pumping as new. We have ran the pump 24/7-365 since we received it. We only shut it off to make sure its clean, and it has always been. We also purchased the 1700 gph pump to pump pond water out, through a garden hose, to our landscape plants. It performs well too. Overall, these pumps are as well made as most. Their price is not too bad, and they are as reliable as any pump I've owned. I am happy with my purchase... Oh, to have included two barbed adaptors would be nice, but since the connections to the pump are NPT, any commonly available NPT barb or other fitting will attach well. On my 1700 pump I found an 1xMGHT adapter and my garden hose connects directly, thus securely. Having regular threaded hubs gives more versatility to these pumps, that not all pump do... ... show more

We wanted a rustling river and this pump and our 23 inch diffuser really gets the flow we were looking for to hear and see rushing water. We had about an 8 foot gain from the bottom of the pond to top of the fall. Used 2 inch pipe. Worked perfect. Not bad for amateurs.
