  • Well made, easy to install and works perfectly with Z2M.
Style: Wall Switch(With Neutral,Double Rocker)
Had no issues adding it to my Zigbee network using zigbee2mqtt. Immediately showed up in home assistant allowing me to integrate it into my smart home. Viewing the zigbee network connections via the zigbee2mqtt mapping tool shows that it is acting as a router/extending the network. Will buy more of these going forward. ... show more

  • great Zigbee light switch
Style: Wall Switch(No Neutral,Double Rocker)
With this single switch, I can control 6 devices in my Home Assistant smart home system. Personally, I love that they are buttons and not typical switches. It makes activating them much easier when you are just passing by. I have two of these and several of the single button ones that Aqara makes. They all work great and will be getting more in the future to complete the home update. The one feature that I wish these had was functionality of being a "router" device vs "end" device. I think that is more of an issue with my old 1930's house wiring (no neutral) than the device though. Cheers ... show more

  • Works well, but does not act as router/repeater
Style: Wall Switch(No Neutral,Single Rocker)
These are straightforward zigbee devices, it exposes the light on/off state, device temperature, LQI, and RSSI. (Note: this is not a dimmer.) Homeassistant (at least via ZHA) just adds it with no issues. It's sort of disappointing that it does not act as a repeater, though, being an always-powered device. That means it will not contribute to the zigbee mesh or provide any improvement in overall connectivity like most powered zigbee devices do. ... show more

  • Great reliable product!
Style: Wall Switch(With Neutral,Single Rocker)
been instaling aqara switches all over my house and i can say that they work great! no issues at all, they work reliably all the time, the only issue that you can have some times is the phiscal switch can get stuck and if this happens it will reset after 10 seconds, not ideal, but it has a easy fix, just put some lubricant in the damn thing and after a day or so it wont get stock ever again :D ... show more

  • No neutral, requires a hub - but fantastic quality.
Style: Wall Switch(No Neutral,Single Rocker)
I had some old light switches that controlled my dining table light, and ceiling lights in the lounge that I wanted to incorporate into my smart home. Instead of adding unnecessary traffic on my WiFi network by adding a bunch of WiFi light bulbs, I added a paid of these to the light switches instead. These were easy to swap out, look amazing and operate flawlessly. The pros of doing it this way: * Much lower cost that replacing all the light bulbs with smart light bulbs * Doesn't add unnecessary load on a crowded WiFi network * Maintains the light switch functionality as before - toggles the lights on and off as normal * Avoids issues that might occur if you turned off a light switch with smart bulbs - you'd lose control over them. This problem doesn't exist in this case The cons: * Zigbee device and requires an Aqara Hub - I would recommend the M3, although anything from them will work. You can also use third party Zigbee hubs, and integrate into Home Assistant for example * No neutral comes with a price premium. Ouch! ... show more

  • Problems with plastic, ground cable and fire hazard
Style: Wall Switch(With Neutral,Double Rocker)
The media could not be loaded. I have bought multiple smart switches from Aqara I had problems with several switches with this same problem and they sent me a replacement, I thought it was a problem with those that I bought initially. But in the ones that were sent to me as replacements, some did the same thing, others still work. I bought a double rocket that did the same thing. I would not recommend this type of wired product, because it represents a risk for your family, the other products that are battery powered or connected to a switch have not had problems, try a second time and the same thing happens, I do not think I will try this again type of products of this brand, at least those that are wired. On this occasion, although the problem happened, they continued to work, the first time it happened they burned more and stopped working, in both situations luckily I was at home, if I was not at home everything could have burned. Normally I don't do very detailed reviews, if the product works well, I give it the stars it deserves. Of the switches, they are the ones with neutral, 1 double rocket and 2 single rocket, in total there were 6 switches that had the same situation, the previous 3 were replaced by the manufacturer.. ... show more

  • Aqara Smart Switch
Style: Wall Switch(With Neutral,Single Rocker)
I would say that this is the second over-priced item in Aqara but there are some features it has that are kind of worth it for me. It looks nice and it works as designed. I connected it to my Google Home app, and it allows me to do an automation that cuts on the lights in my office, gives me the news highlights and weather on my Google Max, and I can turn the lights on and off with my voice or the app. What I do not like is there is no dimmer. I bought a Kasa and it let's me dim the lights and gives me a second switch for what I paid for one Aqara. But, Kasa is not a Zigbee product and it works on wi-fi. Maybe getting the new Aqara light fixture will help with my dimming issue. We'll see. I would buy again and I have about 5 of these. I did not mention the energy monitoring feature since I have the neutral one and it is also a Zigbee repeater. That also makes it a little better that the Kasa. ... show more
