Disclaimer: I didn't actually end up using this set. I was planning to repair an old refrigerator for a relative, and hadn't actually been able to inspect the unit prior to visiting her house, so I wasn't aware that her refrigerator - despite being old - already had wheels installed on the bottom, therefore this set wasn't needed. Thus, I returned this set, unused, for a refund. However, if I had to find a good set with wheels I could trust not to crack, mounted on axles thick enough to bear the weight, made from thick enough steel and with easily-operated brakes of a design likely to be reliable for a lifetime of use, this would be the one I'd pick. Each corner of the appliance will ride on 6 wheels composed of what appears to be good polyurethane molded to an ABS hub, all on a 5/16" axle rod solidly peened into heavy gauge steel rails. I bought these to move my washer and dryer while doing my laundry room renovation. They are literally so simple to put together. They rolled very seamless on the carpet and on my new tile floor. No issues. Get these and they serve a bunch of purposes for moving all types of furniture or heavy items.

I purchased this for my brand new washer and an older dryer. I have had them installed for over a month now. DOES IT STAY PUT WHEN THE MACHINES ARE IN USE? Yes. They do stay put. I was concerned with the agitation of the machine, that it would case it to move around. It doesn’t. They stay pleasantly still. EASE OF USE: It is easy to roll around your appliances. While the range of motion is limited to forward and back, we have a narrow space and it works great. EASE OF ASSEMBLY: It’s very easy to assemble and install on your own. It is even easier to install when you have an extra set of hands or a wedge or something to slightly prop the appliance on its side. DISLIKES?: If your floors don’t really have any tact or texture, if you lean on the appliance even with the locks on, the appliance will move. The wheels are a shiny kind of plastic, not rubbery. I do enjoy having this product on my appliances. It makes it easy to access the water, electrics and vents (systems behind the appliance). Under a larger appliance like a refrigerator, I would consider using 2 sets to support the weight of the appliance. I highly recommend this product and would absolutely repurchase then. ... show more

The Rollers work very well but don't try to move the freezer on top of them sideways. Because the rollers can only move back and forth, overall it is a very nice product.

I needed to move my dryer out, and it has a pedestal, which has rubber feet on the bottom of it. It was very difficult to push it back with those on so I knew it would be very difficult, in an extremely tight space, to pull it out. We can only use an inside vent, and so we were trying several things to get the hose to the internal vent, so it required a few times. Next I need to put one under my fridge. ... show more

Bought this to use under stacked (full-sized) washer & dryer that is installed in a custom laundry cabinet/closet. Loved it at first as it allowed us to easily roll appliance stack into cabinet space - note rollers only work in a straight line but that's exactly what we needed to push the appliance stack back into cabinet. In the product description: "The four key load-bearing points of the furniture dolly are equipped with thickened rubber anti-skid mats, which play the role of anti-skid, anti vibration and noise reduction..." After 3 weeks of use I can attest that the washer feet have not moved on the anti skid pads, HOWEVER --- the anti skid pads are NOT securely glued to the top of the rollers and with vibration from use, all the pads are sliding off the rollers which means it won't be long before one or more feet on my washer/dryer slip off a roller bar! See photo... tough to see but circled area shows pad half off the edge -- and the entire roller is beginning to tip to the right. Until I can come up with a new solution I've wedged a 2x4 next to the roller so that my washer/ dryer won't fall off / tip over. Bottom line - NOT SAFE to remain in place under a washer/dryer stack ... show more
