VERY PLEASED with the iPad Mini 4. iPad is in excellent condition, no scratches, brilliant screen. One complaint is battery life. After charging to 100%, I use the iPad for about an hour and it's down to 50%. I have ordered a replacement battery with installation kit.

    • Save BIG $$$ When You Don't Need the Latest Model
I have one of the newer iPad Airs that I use every day but there are occasions when it's just too big. I also worry about the sensitive data that could end up in the wrong hands if lost or stolen. So I tried using an old Amazon Fire Tablet I had lying around, but it's too hard to get data in and out of that device. It's processor is so slow you don't know if it's hung up or crashed or what. I looked at getting the latest iPad mini, since I'm already in the Apple Ecosystem, but the Mini is about the same price as the iPad Air. So, I thought I'd buy an older model with a lot of RAM to store movies. So far, I'm very happy. The device looks brand new and the battery seems to be performing like new. Set-up was easy since I just paired with my iPhone. I can't do any serious work on it without a keyboard, but that's what my regular iPad is for. The item was clearly damaged and dirty. It was advertised as “excellent condition”. Amazon Renewed defines “excellent condition” as “It shows no signs of cosmetic damage visible from a distance of 12 inches.” Amazon renewed also guarantees that it is “High-Quality Product This pre-owned product has been professionally inspected, tested, and cleaned by Amazon qualified suppliers.” Keyword there is PROFESSIONALLY Inspected. Based on my photo do you think it was professionally inspected? They couldn’t even take 2 minutes to use an alcohol wipe and disinfect/clean the iPad. Amazon Renewed defines “acceptable condition” as Acceptable condition “Scratches are visible when holding the device 12 inches away and perceptible to the touch.” Considering there is also a $100 price difference between to the two qualities, and the fact that this an Amazon Renewed product, I requested a partial refund to reflect the condition of the item that it received. Hannah, my chat assistant, claimed that because this is a “third party seller” that I could either request that from them or return the product. What do you think the seller would do? You think they’d give me a partial refund? No, they’d tell me screw myself and return the product so they can turn around and do the same thing to someone else. Amazon is willing to put their name on the product with a guarantee but take ZERO responsibility for the false advertisement. I have cancelled my prime and have decided to no longer use Amazon ever again. Amazon customer service, along with the quality of products, has continued to decline over the years. Wanted a smaller tablet to travel with for personal use. So looked at a refurbished tablet. Just put a few extra things on and is exactly what I need. Much lighter to carry around too.

    • EXCELLENT CONDITION!
I purchased this iPad 4 mini for my 3 year old toddler to use as an ACC device. This iPad is practically new, it arrived the next day and works perfectly. There are no battery life issues and it arrived with a screen protector.

    • Bad battery
I returned this product because the battery would drain by the minute. Additionally, you can’t install the latest version of the apps, because it’s already an older model, but it looked great. Charger and cable weren’t original.
