UPDATE: USE A SECONDARY THERMOMETER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I TRUSTED THE THERMOSTAT AND IT WAS LOW 5 DEGREES. WHICH MAY HAVE COSTED ME MY HATCHLINGS. I FEEL STUPID FOR NOT USING A SECONDARY THERMOSTAT AND TRUSTED THE MACHINE WAS WORKING AS IT WAS SUPPOSED TOO. This is my first go around with eggs and I am incubating 12 duck eggs. (1 was not fertile) I am on day 12 and 11 of the 12 are doing well. The heat stays where it should. The tray moves every 2 hours-probably even more than it should by natures rules. The humidity could use some work. I don't use the auto bottle feeder. I watch it and put water in as needed and have the lid open a tiny bit to keep the humidity stable. It truly is not that big of a deal to keep it open a little. Candling function works great as it should. ... show more

So far I love this little bator but i cant get the humidity up. Tomorrow is hatch day and I have to raise the lid to spray the eggs to raise the humidity, per bator instructs. This is dumb and there should be some sort of small lid on the clear lid, to open and spray water inside. Raising the lid is defeating the purpose and dangerous. I think i will go with a wet paper towel instead. ... show more

I've been struggling with my hatch rates for several years using one of the old Styrofoam incubators. I got frustrated with the temperature and humidity regulation so I broke down and bought this one. It has everything I want all in one, was easy to set up, and was holding temperature well. I loved this incubator so much, I bought a second one. It works incredibly well. I’ve had great success in hatching chickens, ducks, and geese. My only complaint is how hard it is to maintain humidity.

Gravity fed water bottle doesn't work. The water either spills over or drains into the incubator with in 5 min. Can't regulate humidity Self rotation doesn't work. I have 5 bantam eggs( very small) in it and they seem to be to heavy for the self rotation tray to push. Temp stays at 100 with or without the foam. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This incubator is great for the price! Keeps the temp up, monitors humidity and has a built in light for candeling!!! I love that it turns the eggs and I don’t need to remember!!
