The heads of the screws that secure the wires have a diameter of 2 mm. They were looking for savings and they found them. Reduced the size of the mounting screws. This is sick! They seem to be decent for cheap ass thermostats haven't had any issues yet but only been using them for a couple months going downfall is every one of them your standard service screwdriver does not work too well but it does get the job done kind of pain in the ass

No instructions to determine why the display was blank - returned material and got a better and cheaper unit from local store. Would not recommend because I got a better and cheaper unit that works well.

    • Great product but worried about support in the future.
We have been using this thermostat for over a month now. It works great! It has a nice big LCD display. The buttons work good. Easy to install. Just what I wanted. However, I am concerned about long term support. The Amazon page says the product has a 2 year warranty, but the company that makes it has no web site, no email address and no 800 phone number. The manual that came with it says to register it to get support, but gives no way to do that. The only way I am able to connect with the manufacturer is by clicking on "sold by Agaric Tech" link on the Amazon page. I asked them how do I contact them to register the product and if I have any support issues in the future. They said that the only way was thru this Amazon link! They assured me that I would get the 2 year warranty using this link. I suggest that anyone buying this product use this link to register the product with them and then keep this link address handy in case you need to contact them later. Otherwise very happy with the product! ... show more

Nice looking thermostat for its price, has all the features I was looking at with higher priced ones. Works great, looks very well made. Definitely buying a 2nd one to replace our 1st floor thermostat.
