Amazon ad (see picture) claims bike is recommended for adult riders up to 6'4" (I'm 6'3") w/a weight capacity of 330 lbs. but the max seat/saddle height is only 39". Looking @ Amazon's ads w/similar e-bike models (see pictures) suggesting the same height & weight limits (5'1"-6'4" & 280-330 lbs.) have max saddle height over 43". I'm 6'3" & well under 300lbs, on my 2nd trip on the Aostirmotor I went over a sm. bump & the seat post broke through the seat tube (actual frame of bike, see picture) creating a huge risk for serious injury & making the bike un-ridable. My defective product return request was accepted but the shipping was $330-$630 (33-66% cost of the bike)! I then looked closely @ other Amazon ads & discovered this bike should not be recommended for adult riders greater than 6' & when I brought this to the seller's attention they suggested I purchase a longer seat post & a new seat (A20 saddle is welded to short seat post). The seller was willing to replace the bike frame but refused to address the defective part of the bike (short seat post not suitable for larger riders). Bike purchased 9/4, item defective 10/2, defective replacement request accepted 10/3, FedEx prices shipping @ $330-$630 10/13, seller (+Amazon) agrees to provide return shipping & shipped 11/24, waiting for refund 12/7. ... show more

I really like this bike it’s fun to ride it has lots of power the brakes are amazingly good considering how fast it goes, I got it up to 29 miles an hour with the pedal assist, it’s a very affordable price for a quality bike, I also asked them if I could purchase a rear tandem and they told me that they didn’t have any in the warehouse but because I was a good customer and waited so long that they would send one to me when they get them. Aostirmotor folding electric bike 20 inch fat tire bicycle came in on time but was missing the rear rack also came in with a Sunrace shifter and derailleur and not Shimano as stated in the purchase order. I hope the sunrace is good I do not know about this brand. I have emailed the Aostirmotor company and hope to hear back about the rear rack. The bike seems to work OK, I have only just stared to use the bike the bike is fun and very easy to ride. update Aostirmotor just got back to me they are not sending me the rack even that the manual stated that it did come with a free rear rack, they even would not give me a part number so I could buy one. ... show more

Let me start off with this bike is my everyday daily driver I have 900 miles on it and I’m around 2 months from purchase date! All in and all the bike is solid the tires that it comes with once I hit 600 miles they were done for! Had some motor problems had some worries to how I was getting it fixed being that this is the way I get around they were really helpful and quick to fix if your on the edge on buying the bike you won’t regret it I love this freaking bike!!! ... show more

    • Good when it works. Broke in a month, we’ll see how they address it.
When I first received it there seemed like an issue with the wiring and the power not staying on. After fiddling with the wires I got it to work consistently for about a month, but now it has stopped working completely. The bike seems decent when it worked and was decent value for money. UPDATE: they are still working on helping to replace the parts that are non functional but the bike still doesn’t work. Probably won’t work for another couple weeks. If I had to do it again I’d buy one from a local shop that could deal with these issues for me. Huge hassle. ... show more

Though I loved riding my new Aostirmotor ebike, The battery came separately. It came with nearly a full charge. So I went on a several mile ride. When I returned home knowing I needed to charge the battery. When I opened the box that the charger came in, I saw that the charger and the batter had different connectors. I can not charge the battery with the charger they provided. I reached out to Aostirmotor and they said they would send me the correct charger. It has been a week now and I still do not have the correct charger. I am not riding anywhere. ... show more
