    • Steady and Sturdy for a 3 year old.

I puchased this for my grandson for Christmas and was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it is for a 3 year old. The instructions tend not to be prescise but being handy, I managed to put it together after a couple of errors. The nut wrenches that come with it, are made of plastic and will only allow the nut to go so far without slipping. I used them only because I did not want to tighten the bolts too much and break the plastic that they held together. I was correct in purchasing this model with a 12 volt battery as it last much longer than the 6 volts ones and kids like to ride these toys for a long time. The battery charger indicator was a great addition. As far as safety, the radius of the steering was intentially short so that the child can't turn over the motocycle while turning and the added training wheels (don't take them off) prevented the bike from falling over when turning. Always make sure your child wears a helmet and elbow pads just in case and besides, it makes them look like a real motocross racer! ... show more

This product is terrible. It doesnt hold a charge and the training wheels constantly fall off causing kids to fall over. The tread on tires is trash and are too big so the come off and you have to keep putting them back on. Even after all these issues i contacted the seller to return the item and they expect me to pay for shipping for their faulty product which is $94. Absolute joke.
