We purchased this set for our sons (ages 11 and 15) because they are learning how to play drums and we wanted something at home they could practice on. We wanted an electric set in order to control the volume in the house. The set was pretty easy to put together. I would estimate that it took less than 2 hours. The sound is great and the kids are having a lot of fun using it. You can use it with headphones, or you can hook it up to an amplifier (not included). Would definitely recommend! ... show more

    • Hard set up. Satisfying results
I feel the set up is a bit confusing and putting it together was a workout. All the pieces would need a lot of force to put together and things would often slide out. I feel the instructions are not very clear as well. Though when set up the sound quality is nice and you can really go all out on it. It can take a beating. I wish the kick would be more sensitive though but overall really good drum for beginners. ... show more

I really appreciated how easy it was too set up. And also how a key is provided to tighten up the bolts. Sound is good and response is accurate. The only con would be I wish the snare was bigger. Other than that great beginner drumset! Also the customer service was phenomenal for me! I happened to not notice I switched the hi hat and foot cable and the team were able to troubleshoot with me and figured it out! Thanks guys! Great service! ... show more

I bought this drum set for my 13 year old daughter, it handles well for her size and she enjoys playing it randomly through the day. It’s sturdy and since Christmas still put together well.I’ve used the headphones and it sounds clear. We got this set along with an electric keyboard for our two boys who love music. Both kids, as we expected, gravitate to the drum set. It’s great for beginners- kids and adults alike! Much higher quality than we were expecting. It comes with a basic but comfortable set of wired headphones. We’ve hooked it up to our Bluetooth speaker and recently purchased a transmitter and two wireless headsets that allows for so we can begin some lessons.     • Wonderful drum set for the beginner!
My son decided two weeks before Christmas that he wanted this drum set. I ordered it and it shipped immediately. Unfortunately, a few days later I got an email from Amazon that it had been damaged during shipping and was being returned. At this point, it was only a week until Christmas and I wasn't feeling optimistic. However, I immediately reordered it and it shipped the same day and got here two days before Christmas! This company is amazing at customer service! My son has never played drums before, but he said the set was super easy to set up and has an amazing sound!
