Unfortunately it was not what was expected. Straight out of the package I noticed that there was a lot of threading coming apart at the edges....I figured I’d bypass that and hang them up anyway,....second I unwrap the straps and see there is only one D-ring at one end and no clamp or instructions on how to properly secure this strap....ok, I decided I would figure it out (the strap was of good quality).......then I attempt to hang the hammock where my old one was (this was meant to be an upgrade to an old one) and placed it in the exact same same spot and height as the one I took off. Immediately as soon as I sit on it I sink all the way down to the floor (I am 5’11” and 206 lbs.). This hammock stretched so much that do it to hold me it would have to be placed 7 feet high (which would look ridiculous and make it impossible to get on initially. The material seemed comfortable and the hammock was very nice but not at all practical for use. I had an event at my house and unfortunately couldn’t wait to reorder something else so I went to Walmart and purchased some standard travel camping hammocks for $14 each and the worked perfect and truthfully even looked better be of the rich color it had. I originally purchased 2 of these hammocks that was returned. ... show more

I was really excited for this hammock, it is super cute, however, I am disappointed in its quality and will be returning it. I am 140 lbs and like another review mentioned it stretches ALOT, you immediately sink to the ground and it doesn't feel sturdy at all. Also, the strings have random knots in them that shouldn't be there as if they had to tie two pieces together that are sure to unravel. It also came with lose threads of fabric and a small hole!! If I were to keep this I guarentee it would only last a month before tearing or falling apart. Terrible quality. I do not recommend. ... show more

The hammock has felt secure, when sitting and laying in it. I’ve used with blankets during 70 degree weather. I don’t k ow if the fabric “breathes” when using in hot weather. I would assume it is typical of any other hammock in that respect. I find it is very comfortable. I could not see a second adult in the hammock with me. I’m 5’7” and 170lbs. I believe that this hammock is not only sturdy, but it very pretty. I love the fringe on the side! the weather is cooler now, but I can’t wait to use it again! ... show more

The hammock is so easy to set up - the hammock, two straps and two S hooks came in a cute drawstring bag the same color and same material as the hammock. The hammock has a soft burlap feel, and the end loops where the S hooks go seem woven well and secure. My husband and I each took a turn sitting in it, the straps moved just a little but not an alarming amount when I sat on it, I am 192lbs. It’s very nice looking and I like the way it looks in our yard. It is unfortunately NOT a two person hammock. It is very uncomfortable to have two people in it at once and we end up basically being on top of each other.
