I've had this a little over 5 months. It's a strong, long-lasting battery that doubles-to-triples my unplugged playtime (depending on game demands). the magnet is strong and designed to easily snap exactly in place. the cable is just the right length and helpfully angled at 90 degrees at both ends. the indicator lighting suggests how much battery power is left on the device. the plastic clip is strong and just slim enough to still zip the Steamdeck into the case the device came with. The battery is quite heavy, but positioned such that it sits at just the right angle when resting on a pillow on my lap, or seated at a table. I just need a way to have a full play session when I'm seated far from an outlet or on the occasional long trip, and this does the trick! This is a review for the Antank Magnetic Power Bank. First thing I notice is that the quality looks exceptional. Nothing rattles and everything seems very solid and built well. There is a button on the front that when pressed shows a circular light formation so you know the remaining battery power. You can charge the battery with any phone charger and USBC cord. The clip that goes onto the steam deck has a magnetic attachment so the battery pack is easily removed. (My Steam Deck is delayed in shipment so unfortunately I can't show it attached.) The magnet is very strong. You can see in the picture attached I am holding it upside down. It comes with two cables, a long cable and short cable with 90° angles. The short one is perfect when hooking the battery up directly to the steam deck. The long one is good if you don't want to have the battery attached directly to the deck or if you're charging a cell phone or tablet. The great thing about this battery pack is you can use it to charge your steam deck, cell phone, tablet, or even batteries for electronic devices such as cameras and camcorders. I am charging my camera battery in the picture attached. I'm very pleased with this purchase, It's a quality item at a fair price. I would highly recommend it. ... show more

Since this product comes with other pieces I'll review each of them as best but short as possible. Charger: Great! It is heavy when attached to the SD (steam deck) but it's just enough to tolerate it if you're sitting. But keeps my gaming sessions longer when I'm on my bed or couch. Clip attachment: good till it broke. The clip is heartbreaking thing because once it goes, it's useless. However before it did the clip was light and not intrusive to your gaming. USB-C Wire: handy and durable. It right angle inputs became more than conventional when you have a charger behind it. How did it the clip break? In short I would take it off whenever I didn't need it. It broke at the top of the clip when the vents and power button are on the SD and they were pretty thing. Overall: would recommend if the clip was a little bit more reinforced where the open top part that allows ventilation through. ... show more

Battery lasts really long for the steam deck. It does make it about twice as heavy, but for the size of it, it's not too bad. My husband finds it to fit well and still be very comfortable to hold while on car trips. This charger is a must have for portable gaming. It does at least 1 full charge for less than 10% to full while I play. It has a mount that clips to your steam deck, and the battery magnetically sticks to the mount. 2 cables are included, a short one with a 90° USB C male plug in, meant for use with the mount. And a longer type c plug in for sitting the battery down and playing or charging something else. The battery itself uses a type c connection for charging and discharging. So, I want to start off by saying it works exactly as advertised and works very well. I feel it is a fair deal based on the price and performance if you catch it on sale -- the power delivery is as advertised, I never see the slow charge error and playing while connected, the battery extended my Steam Deck battery life by 2-2.5x which was awesome. So why 3 stars? The magnet design thing is a cool idea, but completely impractical. The battery pack is *chunky.* It is definitely compact, but it is also heavy. It weighs 1 pound which isn't a lot in a backpack, but is a ton when strapped to the back of the 1.5 pound Steam Deck. Is it doable? Sure. Is it comfortable? Maybe for a little while? I don't know. I tried it for a run of Slay the Spire and just took it off. Since you don't have to use the small angled USB cord it comes with, I grabbed a longer cable and now it sits next to me or in my bag. So, tl;dr - performance per price is good, battery pack itself is well made and good quality, power delivery is great, but magnet is situational at best and clunky.
