This review is for a 2 in 1 Solar Camping String Lights. This is a great little unit that can be used in l lot of different situations. First things first I love anything solar because I don’t have to pay the electric guy as my hubby would say. This is a 2 in 1 light that can be used as a lantern and hung with attached handle, or there’s a LED string that can be pulled out of the side like a fishing line, and it has 150 LED lights on it, and is retractable when done using. The adjustable brightness, and different light modes make it perfect for any situation. It comes with a remote control, has a USB port that I can use to charge my phone or the light, and it has a timer function. I can use it when camping, use it for parties around a canopy, and I’ve already used it indoors one night when we lost electricity. I love and recommend this light, it’s portable, the string light is approximately 40 feet long, it’s rechargeable when there’s no sun, and it’s weatherproof. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I thought this set of lights was pretty innovative - especially for campers! The light/light case seems to be sturdy, and is also pretty easy to use. The lights charge with either solar or via the USB charging cable. The mini light string pulls out pretty easily, and wasn't difficult to wind back up, either. I liked that the cap to the light string compartment doubles as a hook to hang up one end. It's also convenient that the case with the primary light has a carry handle that doubles to hang it up as well. And I LOVE that it comes with a remote! Once the lights are strung, you can operate them without getting out of your sleeping bag - or chair. And you can also charge other devices like phones from the main unit. PLUS, you can set a timer for them through the remote for 4, 6, or 8 hours. And there are so many light options! The main light has brightness options as well as a red flashing SOS lighting option. The string lights can vary as well, from solid to two types of flashing to working at the same time as the main light. Have a party in your tent or under your canopy with the flashing lights! There was only one small negative to me: the little peg that you pop up to use to wind up the string lights has more range of movement than I would have liked - while it works, I think it could have been designed to be a little easier to use. Good points: The bulbs on this string of lights are very small but put out plenty of light to illuminate a tent, in a tree near a campfire or a small garden area. They are quick to charge and last at least 5 hours (at which time I turned them off and went to sleep). The design is clever because they go back into the body of the light with a built in cranking mechanism which makes this item very handy to store in a backpack or on it to recharge while you trek to the next camp sight. The remote control is a real plus. The light also has the ability to be a large single light at the base of the housing. The small lights can also be set to pulsate. The string of lights is plenty long at nearly 40 feet. The lights can also be charged via the USB cord with comes with the light. Bad points: None. A good buy all around. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Don't be fooled by the pictures. This is a quality product with high quality and powerful battery cells. They claim in the listing it can run for 18 hours on the low light setting. In my test, with the light on medium intensity this awesome little light ran for 25 hours before I finally powered it off. It started getting dimmer about 20 minutes before I ended the test. I am not sure how long it would of went for but 25 hours is more than impressive. This light gets bright and could easily illuminate a room or tent even on its lowest setting. It charges via usb c or by sunlight and has a charging indicator light and also a usb output. It's small, compact, and lightweight. It has 3 different light settings and 5 light modes controlled by one button. It is extremely easy and simple to use. This is a good value for all the options you get in such a compact unit that can run for this long. This is a great unit for power outages and for camping. This is such a cool product! I love that it's solar, and kept very compact. Easy to utilize in many different ways, this string light has an impressive length and running time. I tried it out on our backyard trampoline one evening, and the kids went crazy over it! I charged it for an afternoon in the sun, and it was on for 3+ hours before I manually turned it off. It comes with a handy remote, so I didn't have to climb up into the trampoline to turn it off. It has a handful of different lighting cycles, blinking, alternating, steady on, red light (on the lamp portion), etc. When you're ready to store it until next time, it's as easy as reeling in a fishing pole. The unit has a built in USB port for charging phones or accessories on the go. Really, this product could not get any better! Also, an amazing price point for this item! ... show more
