I’m a just enough producer. I breastfeed my 1 month old and wanted to try and get some milk saved but I just wouldn’t react to the pumps. I tried spectra and medela manual. I ended up getting 3.5oz out of 3 days of saving every little bit I could get from those pumps. I decided to take the jump and try this pump out since it is made different than others and I am FLOORED. I already have the Spectra S1 and the Momcozy M5 and also used the Medela hospital grade pump at the hospital many times (my newborn did not latch and I have been pumping 8-10 times a day for weeks since giving birth). With all of these pumps I had the need to use a strong suction levels which was irritating for my skin and very painful overall. The lactation specialist I have been working with recommended I try the Annabella instead and it was a great upgrade!! Annabella offers a better more natural stimulation to facilitate let down without needing to painfully increase suction levels. but really.. It's not my go to. First off you can only pump one side and you can't even use a hands free pumping bra. The parts are small and finicky, and hard to clean. Imitating the actual feel of a suckling infant is no easy feat and given the challenge, I'm going to say this pump by Annabella does a good job. It's not the same, of course, nothing is, but the tongue suckling pattern that this pump provides seems pretty close. You can choose your level of suction between 9 different levels and has several different tongue stimulation levels, as well. The breast shield itself is silicone an able to fit more than one breast size. I love the size of this pump - it feels substantial without being too bulky - and the control pad is intuitive and responsive to use. I do wish it wasn't tethered to the pump itself, but I'd much rather be tethered to a control pad than the wall. It holds a decent charge - on full charge you can use it throughout the day for a total of a little over two hours. It's fairly quiet to use and using it is simple - it's got a fair number of parts to assemble but it's fairly intuitive to put together. I just wish it came with more collection bottles. It's easy to clean, but more is always better in this case. ... show more

I ordered this item after using a Madela for my first child, and wanted to try a new pump. The build of the pump is high quality, with few parts, is easy to take apart and clean, and the system is totally remote: it is charged using any type c charger. Very easy to carry around and use. The feel of the pump itself is as natural as I think possible, and comparable to the Madela in the duration of use for each session. So first off not really sure about this pump, it's not really what I was expecting just looking at it but I really can't give much of a review because I received an opened pump... which is a complete health hazard so there's that. Can't say much else than that except I'm real disappointed and grossed out, breast pumps are medical devices that come in contact with bodily fluid, I just don't know how I got shipped and open pump, I have no idea if it was used or not but the safety label was broken and I'm not taking a chance on using used medical equipment.
