I like this kit but the connectors themselves are cheap and the quality of the solder cups is not great. Also these things start melting if your not fast at soldering. If it starts to melt the pins will move on the male connectors.

Low quality connectors... pins are formed/stamped tin; no plating on female contacts; male contacts are plated or bare copper; insulating plastic is low temperature (not teflon). Vendor needs better quality control - one connector was missing several pins (see picture).

Electronically these work just fine when new. I installed the connector inside an airplane wing and the connector electrically failed after 10 months. Severe corrosion on pins and connector housing. This product is not suitable in weathered environments. Connector pins are not gold. Corrosion issue is bad! ... show more
