After installing a new tub and drain, our daughter somehow broke the drain plug. We have tried to find other ways to get it to plug properly, to no avail. The rubber stoppers work until the get bumped and then the tub drains. This plug didn't seem like it fit properly, even with changing the silicone ring. I measured the opening and selected the corresponding ring. I doubted that it would work properly, but it works great! I definitely recommend measuring and using the ring suggested in the instructions to get a proper fit. Fits my tub nicely out of the box. I don’t like that it will displace if you strike it. I replaced it after the pop up stopper I installed broke. Much better than flat rubber stopper I have been using for years.
