  • Handy For Remote Work
Color: Black
So far I like this thing. I think this is for somebody who is working remotely or traveling a lot, but is on enough phone calls or video conferences during the day that they need an upgrade from the cell phone speakerphone or laptop speaker/microphone. It isn't absurdly light or small, but it is small enough to get added to your laptop bag without issue. The sound quality is just fine, both incoming and outgoing. I like that it can just as easily be wired to your computer through USB or go bluetooth into your cell phone wirelessly. I also like that they put a battery in it large enough that you never have to really worry about it going flat during even a long day with a lot of calls. The battery means it can go wherever is the best place to put it for sound quality. I have never used it to charge my phone, but it is nice that you can theoretically use it as an emergency cell phone charger. I use it by myself most of the time, but I think it would be fine for a small conference with a few people around a small table. I would not expect it to perform well in a big conference room with people 20 feet away from it. It is not meant to replace a $2,500 Polycom system with remote mikes and all that, it is optimized for travel. I also like that when I mute the call the lights turn red so it is very obvious I am not connected. What don't I like: the mute button is in the center, but the whole control console isn't that big, and the button to hang up the call is close enough to the mute button that I've hung up the call when meaning to put it on mute more than once. So you do have to pay attention when you mute the mic. It is not that big a deal once you know you need to pay attention to it, but I'd prefer more separation between the hang up button and the mute button. The case is fabric, but I think something like this should really have a hard-sided case. It is getting tossed into my bag, bounced around, etc. and so far nothing bad has happened to it, but I am not sure the little neoprene case protects from anything beyond scratches or rips of the fabric. ... show more

  • Works with Teams for home office
Color: Black
I was looking for an affordable conference speaker form my home office since people were having difficulty hearing me with the factory laptop mic. This speaker/mic solved my problems. I use the wired USB connection and the mute, volume, hold and call button all work with Teams. The built in LED shows red when I'm on mute so there's no guessing if people will hear me or not. A simple tap allows me to be heard again. Have not tried the Bluetooth feature but I'm sure it's good based on my experience with the speaker over the last couple weeks. This is a good alternative to the $200 offerings. ... show more

  • Works great, provided you use the wired connection
Color: Black
I bought this with a little trepidation. I had previously purchased the version of this form factor that doesn't have a cloth covered grill. I returned that previous purchase as it didn't integrate well with Teams. I had hoped that either the firmware for this device, or Teams updates would have changed the situation. When I first connected it, I used Bluetooth. I could mute my call on the device, but Teams would not reflect that. Same behavior if I muted using Teams - the device wouldn't show that I was muted. Was ready to return but decided to try using it connected via USB. That changed the behavior entirely. I can now activate mute on the device and Teams recognizes it. The sound quality is very good and my team reports that I am clearly audible. So glad it works with Teams now, even though I would prefer a Bluetooth connection. ... show more

  • Great clarity and volume!
Color: Black
This bluetooth speakerphone works terrific! It's the first thing I turn on when I go to my office in the mornings, and it remains on all day while I work. I can take calls and still have two hands free for my keyboard while I talk. I wear hearing aids, and often it was difficult to hear on my cell phone, even with the volume high. This speakerphone solves that problem. Often, increasing volume also decreases clarity; that's not the case here. The speakerphone does a great job of adjusting volume without compromising clarity. I also love that it was basically "plug and play." The setup was a breeze, even for someone like me who is not a "tech person." ... show more

  • Pretty decent sound. Trouble with full-duplex.
Color: Black
I use these for my home office so not really for a conference call but for joining online meetings by myself. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. The sound quality is decent and most of the time, it works pretty well. However, at times, I cannot hear people if they start talking when I'm talking so I have to stop talking to resume full-duplex conversation. It's a bit annoying but doesn't always happen either so I can live with it. I haven't been able to figure out what triggers the full-duplex to fail. Not sure if it's a firmware issue or what but seems to be a regular thing that I need to be aware of and watch people's faces to ensure I'm not talking over them. Another point of gripe is that the touch volume buttons are not as responsive to rapid touches so you can't do quick up/down adjustments. Also only the mute button is indented and you can't really find it without touching other buttons so you really have to look down before you touch any of the buttons. I prefer tactile buttons to touch since you can find them without looking away from the camera. The noise-cancelling seems to work pretty well. I could have my pretty noisy window AC unit that's only about 2 feet away from me running and people can't hear it and can still hear me. However, it does pick up some of my clicky keyboard noise at times so I do end up having to make sure I'm muted before typing. Otherwise, though, it is a decent looking and good sounding unit. I haven't had a chance to use it on the go yet so can't speak for the battery performance nor performance with multiple people in a bigger room. ... show more
