The Aniioki AQ177 is a great e-bike. I’m happy that I finally have an e-bike that puts an end to range anxiety. If you leave home on this, you’ll get back home on it. If you barely pedal at all, just help it up steep hills, you’ll get at least 90 miles. I’m 230 lbs, and I got 92 miles on my first range test. I still had 45 volts, which means I still had about 30% of my power left. Why did I stop at 92 miles? Because it isn’t the best to run your battery all the way down. But I know that I would have gotten over 100 miles on one charge if I had kept going. That is freaking amazing! I am finding that I ride it a lot more mines than I did with my scooter, which only has a 25 mile max range. I didn’t even go 10 miles from home with it, due to fears that I might not get home. One other nice thing about this bike, and this is surprising- it is pretty easy to pedal even when shut off. Seriously, even if you run out of battery, you can pedal it a few miles home. I was surprised it wasn’t hard to pedal when totally off. Positives and Negatives about Aniioki AQ177 Bike Positives •Incredible Range- after 37.5 miles of riding (fast), the battery still shows 3 green bars and one red. •Decent ride- the seat is comfortable •It is VERY sturdy •The paint finish is amazing, it is the hardest paint I've ever seen, and the frame is painted on all surfaces, inside and out. •The kickstand works great, and doesn’t ever block the pedals •it’s 1000W motor has quite a bit of power, yet sips very slowly on the battery power. •easy to pedal when totally shut off •Killer looks- I like the good looks, but I wish it didn’t look so motorcycle-like •Adjustable height comfortable bicycle seat. Lots of e-bikes these days have only long flat motorcycle seats, that are so low you almost can’t pedal at all. They also look more motorcycle-like •The 7 gear shifter worked perfectly on the first shot, no adjustment necessary! •Dual mode always on, use the throttle or peddles, any time, to call up lots of power. •It has fenders/mud guards, but the way it is designed, it might not even need them. •The customer support people at Aniioki are friendly, helpful, patient, and kind. They are a good company to work with, they are providing fixes for some of my problems. Negatives (some of these are nitpicky- but still true) •Excessive peddle assist power. When you peddle, in any mode (1-5) the bike leaps to the top speed in that gear. So you have to use lower gears, 1, 2, or 3, when you peddle, 2 is best. In gear 3 you have to peddle crazy fast or you are ‘ghost peddling’. In gear 4 or 5 there is no point in peddling, because you can’t add any power, it is going too fast for peddling. I wish the peddles could be used all the way up to 28 miles per hour, but at about 17 miles per hour you are already going too fast for peddling to make any sense. I wish the gear ratio allowed for real pedaling at speeds up to 28 mph! •The rear shocks are “pretend hydraulic” or fake coil and air. There are these very large and noticeable red fake air reservoirs attached to the spring shocks. They are not real, they are dummies. Is this bike for kids? Who want to pretend that they have top quality shocks if they don't? I’d sooner actually have coil and air, or not see a rig designed to trick people. It’s sad and very strange. •The display is SO DIM. I can’t see it in day light, that is just pathetic. people need to know how fast they are going, even when i daylight. •Stupid placement of the headlight, one screw mount, on the lower part of the front shocks, makes it wobble like crazy. It is too big and too heavy for the mount. It should be mounted firmly to the handle bars, and it should be smaller. •Blinker lights are only in the rear, and are too dim to be seen at all in daylight. •Blinker lights are SO dim, they are hard to even notice at night •Blinkers make no sound, so you won’t remember to turn them off, and they do not turn themselves off. *Blinker switch doesn’t have a mark at center, so you have to look carefully to turn it off •Taillight is dim and pink- not red… really dim. •Security system for turning it on is a little annoying, but really secure. But I suspect that one could steal the battery easily, with just a screwdriver jammed into the battery-lock keyhole. •The tires sent are knobby off-road tires, but this is more of a road bike. The tires don’t have much rubber, and •the Knobbies make a loud buzzing sound on the road. A really good upgrade would be motorcycle style tires. •there are no pegs for someone riding on the back to put their feet on •cover on the charger port doesn’t stay closed- poor fit. •I would be very concerned if it started raining hard while I was riding. The battery opening is on top, and is not water sealed. Maybe they are channeling the water so well that it is safe, but I would love to see a test in heavy rain, by someone other than me. •the little black controller with the menu on it, has a top that is not sealed, leaving a 16th inch opening on the front and one side. This doesn’t seem waterproof, it concerns me. •some of the welds are not great, see pictures. •the battery was damaged a bit in the shipping. Strange that they shipped it inside of the bike, instead of wrapping it in some nice foam padding. •The hole on the bottom of the bike where cords exit and enter the body, has kind of sharp edges, and seems poorly places, as the bottom center of the frame can often scrape on curbs or other hazards. In this case, that could cause one or more cords to be severed, which would be really bad. •There is no USB 3 port, no USB C port. This huge battery and there is no place to charge even one device. •There is no horn, and no bell, I purchased one. •The rear fender can get lodged up under the back seat, see the image (close-up top of back wheel). This freaked me out, but the plastic fender is flexible and didn’t seem damaged afterward. The problem is that with the shocks, the rear wheel and fender can bounce up high enough to push the fender in there, and the space above it is just wide enough to fit it, but not wide enough to allow it to go back down. I found an easy solution. There is some 2 inch thick, very tough foam in the package with this bike. Take some of it, and cut a piece that fits perfectly up under the rear seat. It is easy to do, and the foam won’r allow the fender to ever go up in there again. But the real problem here is that the rear shocks are weak, they have too much travel in them and there is no way to even adjust them. The rear shocks are weak! ... show more

First of all, I would like to add to or say a couple things about what Mr Pixel has to say in his generous review above. The LCD display is dim, but can be adjusted, the instructionsabsolutely love this bike. After owning several decent up-and-comers, I was tired of running out of batteries 45 minutes from home regardless of when I used pedal assist! Not anymore. I don't even pedal nowadays unless I elect to or wanna check the mail and realize I left the fob upstairs. It's zippy from standing and it's zippy up top - I have to remind myself this thing's like 130 lbs and built like a tank, but a tank with nimble, powerful and responsive attributes. Both front and rear shocks are adjustable, locking and make for a quite comfortable ride. I've taken it for a 65-mike ride and used only 2 of 5 bars! 😳 My rear wheel or possibly rear motor started making weird noises yesterday so tomorrow I'll find out what's up with their customer service and I will update when pertinent. ... show more

I have nothing but good things to say about this e-bike. I am so happy with range the build quality and the power of course I have reached out to customer support a few times! And they got back to me within a day and went above and beyond to help me with my questions and even sent me a updated display. For no change. I highly recommend the Aniioki AQ 177 pro max. .John . S. Update. I had nothing but good things to say about those company But now it seems that after 30 days or more of owning it. They no longer answer any emails or questions you have So it seems to me after the 30 day return window has closed. They no longer communicate with you. At least that's what I'm getting here. No problems with the bike but have more questions, especially about the supposed UL certified battery. I asked for proof of that because there's no proof of you all certification on the battery itself. Only them stating that they are UL certified. Hopefully I hear back from them. ... show more

-Amazing construction -Beautiful appearance -Feels like riding a comfortable jet ski -Customer service has been very friendly and helpful Three main issues: -My front tire popped after a week of use. I think it's due to ebikes (especially this one at 100+ lbs) being too heavy for regular bike tubes. Aniioki should put reinforced tubes rather than regular. -The step-through area is a bit low since the suspension drops the bike quite a bit so I've hit the road multiple times. Maybe next iterations could be a little higher. -Manual should have a list of all parts that need replacing throughout the life of the bike (i.e. brake pads) and tell me if it uses DOT or mineral oil for the hydraulic brakes. Overall, I am really enjoying this bike! ... show more

This bike is really amazing. I was kinda hesitant to buy it but i gave it a try and it did’nt disappoint me. I travelled 25miles full throttle without pedal assist and the bar is still full. The customer service is awesome i would recommend this bike if you are really into travelling. If you are after a bike that cab travel far? THIS IS THE BIKE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR! I give 5star to the Bike Performance and 5 star to the customer service response! Love this bike! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought two bikes from them. They shipped my 2nd one with defective parts. However, I reached out to them and they made sure I was taken care of and sent me the parts to fix the bike. Not a lot of companies would do this.
