I am an 81 year old lady and I put it together myself, which means anyone can do it. All controls are easy to reach. On flat roads, I turn off battery so I can exercise. When I get to a hill, I reach down and turn on the power and it pulls me up the hill easily while I pedal. The basket has a lid so you can place items inside without fear of their blowing out. I reviewed several ebikes and noticed none had more than a four star rating. The flaws varied from assembly directions to battery issues. I agree the directions weren’t the greatest it the issues I had were related to the basket installation (no pictures at all). I was able to make it work and it’s stable and reliable. As for the battery no issues none what so ever. My wife rides it 2-3 times a day for 2-3 miles per in a neighborhood with hills. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Bike looks absolutely beautiful, it's too bad because it arrived damaged and missing parts, bent rim and no basket. I messaged the seller about both problems and yet responded to one and ignored the other. They told me the basket shipped separately... You know, one of those things that should be made aware of on purchase but wasn't. And they completely ignored my message about the front rim arriving damaged, the bike is un-rideable and Amazon says it's not eligible for a return, the manufacturer is not responding to send a replacement rim.. What a $600 nightmare. Buyer beware ... show more

Bike arrived yesterday and I just went for a 12 mile ride! REALLY like this bike and expect to get many hours of fun! Cruised up hills easily with peddle assist. Searched for a bike for short people...I am 5ft tall and this is perfect (seat in lowest position). Plan to take it out on woods roads next...see how it goes! Anxious for the basket to arrive...it ships seperate ... show more

    • Once assembled, works great
I bought this bike (Nakto Classic model) to commute the two miles over hilly terrain to university, in lieu of the forty-minute bus ride (ridiculous, I know). Had it shipped to my house as the description said I should be able to assemble it myself, which may have been true if it had been packed with the correct tools and some of the preattached hardware had not been screwed in so tight that I was unable to loosen it by hand. I ended up taking it to a local bike shop after attaching the front wheel; they attached the front fender and front basket rack, secured the handlebars, and adjusted the front brakes. This cost about $80, but given that this ebike is c. half the price of the next available model, I wasn't too phased. It is also reassuring to know that most of it was assembled by professionals. If I could do over, I would have had it shipped to the bike shop initially for assembly, which according to their website costs $200, but it would have saved me a lot of frustration and having to walk the partially assembled contraption a mile uphill into town. I did email the company while I was still attempting at-home assembly for instructions; they sent me a link to a particularly unhelpful YouTube video. The company does have some clear and helpful videos for their other models though. That being said, now that it is assembled, I have ridden it several times between campus and home and I love it. Having the electric motor and throttle really helps with acceleration, particularly since a lot of my commute is stop-and-go with traffic lights, stop signs, etc. For being so affordable, I'm not terribly upset about the assembly difficulties since it operates very well and has so far proven reliable. I don't own a car (don't even have a license) so I'm depending on the bike for my main mode of transportation for the foreseeable future; thankfully the area where I live has several bike shops should I need any more work done on it. ... show more
