    • Great two grinder mount!

I install this grinder hanger in my toolshed and it's a perfect rack to mount my Milwaukee M18 grinders. These mounts are very sturdy and are made of some thicker than 18-gauge sheet metal. The paint and finish is superb and there aren't any burs to catch. The craftsmanship is top notch and I'm just very impressed with this rack. The install was very easy, although it comes with some plastic expanders for the screws to going into the sheetrock; I couldn't trust the sheet rock to hold up all this grinder weight, I also suspect that when I put the grinder up on this rack I would be doing it in a tossing manner. So instead I nailed a board onto the studs behind the sheet rock, then mounted this rack onto the board for some very secure installation. After the installation, I test fitted my grinders and hung them on to the rack, and things went well. The rack left enough spacing so the grinder shield can set into the cavity of this rack. And I also found that it's best to keep the last used disc on the grinder. I usually have a habit of removing every disc from the grinder before tucking it away; that's because I would want the grinder to fee up in between uses so that no disc stays too long in the grinder to fuse up so hard to remove in the future. But that created an unstable hang; so I had to compromise a bit with that, but it challenges my OCD and cornered me a bit. I try to let the pro outweigh the con on this. This rack also comes with some pre-drilled holes and slots on the horizontal platform. That allows me to hang some spanners and the grinder handles for easy to reach storage. I really appreciate that a lot. The cable hanger slot isn't utilized because my grinder runs on a battery. But the other hooks are used to hang some extra locking wheels. The whole rack itself gets pretty fully utilized to store my two grinders. And having two big Red branded grinders on this rack just looks great. Love what this rack does for my toolshed. I got this so that I could take my angle grinders off my welding bench but still have them close at hand, allowing me to free up some much-needed horizontal table space. Typically this holder is designed to be screwed into the wall but where my welding table is there is no continent wall access but I do have a large metal storage rack near by So I decided to see if this would work using VHB tape for mounting and it did (for reference I used a strip on each side and 2 in the middle with another 1/2 strip along each of the connecting bars at the top). So after getting the holder hung I decided to give it a try and while id does hold the grinders individually with or without guard, but it gets a bit cramped if you keep the side handles on the grinders like I do. Overall the shelf seemed well built and held the grinders individually just fine, however I wish it was a bit wider for those of us who use the side grip on the grinders. ... show more

I picked up welding as a hobby, and quickly accumulated angle grinders to serve different purposes. I use this holder with my corded grinders that I keep a flap disc and grinding wheel attached to. I use a 60v grinder with a cutoff wheel, and a 20v grinder with a wire wheel that I keep on the edge of my table. It's nice to always have these in reach, especially since the corded grinders can't stand on end and you have to hang them up if you don't want them resting on the guard or attachment. ... show more

I love my angle grinder, but I've always had problems storing it due to its shape. There was always wasted space in drawers or on my bench. It's just awkward to store. I love being able to slip it into its mount and be done with it. This was super easy to mount and came with everything needed to get it done. This bracket easily handles two corded or cordless grinders. It has hooks for cords (if needed) and slots for the funky wrenches needed to change heads. You will always know where your grinder is. The coating on the holder will resist rust. The hooks control the cords. There are slots (holes) for screwdrivers and the like. The only thing to beware of is the side handles on the grinders, but these screw on and off easily to allow grinders to fit. Excellent! I will note that the included mounting kit assumes a drywall mount, and so I had do substitute screws to do the mounting. I put up a bit of scrap wood to distrubute the forces and I will probably add a shelf or two nearby to hold accessories and a small charging station for the cordless grinder. ... show more
