Very good product, decent bag no pockets but can use the plastic bag within as a spare pocket for the accessories. Charging port is pretty sturdy, case is soft to the touch, back-light is good quality. The flash light on my phone is of higher quality but the one on this product works fine in necessary situations. Long battery life also, although I haven't used it more than an hour at a time it seems to offer a very long charge span. If I broke mine by accident I would definitely buy another one. This is built more like a Gameboy and less like an old school nokia so you may want to be careful in how you transport it. ... show more

    • Auto range makes it impossible to pick a fixed range for the volts function

First, it comes with a fantastic set of leads. It's auto ranging and auto function. And that's a problem. At low voltages it doesn't always select voltage mode. If you switch to voltage mode manually it won't switch ranges. For instance I can't read a nicad batterie's voltage accurately. Also despite having a 6000 count display accuracy is only .5% so you might as well have a 600 count display instead. It's fine for general purpose use and the temperature and capacitance functions are features that my older meters lack. I'm keeping it instead of returning it but it was a close decision. ... show more

In general, its construction looks of good quality, it came very well packaged and it is very appreciated that it comes in its case so as not to have to make that extra expense, it is quite precise in its measurements although it is very difficult to read its measurements easily due to to the screen and even though it has the backlight, it cannot stay on if the front light is not also turned on and that is not very nice. but without a doubt it is a good purchase for the price-quality ratio ... show more

Big display is easy to read (not so much in direct sunlight) and controls are reasonably easy to use. Tone that sounds for lower values is annoying when that is the range you need to work. Ok, I usually buy multimeters under $20 of I need one for a diy job. I don't use them often. My old low use multimeter didn't work when I need to check ohms on my water heater element so during my search, I came across this digital, auto multimeter with rechargeable battery. Kinda wish I would have just stuck with a $20 one that takes AA s. It feels cheap and you have to assemble the probes, what the heck is that. The manual is not very good. There are 3 holes in the bottom for the 2 probes and the directions and meter don't show which is ground. Well, I figured it out and checked my heater element. On the positive side, the backlit display is easy to read and there is an audible beep when you make a good connection. The auto feature means not having to squint to read the settings but you have to be plugged in to the correct prove holes. Not sure this is a keeper. ... show more

Absolutely horrid, the "auto" function never shuts off, while I'm trying to read DC volts it's switching over to ohm on it's own! Not even the manual selection switch can keep it reading DC volts. I am very disappointed in this volt meter, maybe the touch screen variant would work better. If your serious about electronics projects SKIP THIS METER ... show more
