I read online that the temperature difference between this and the ceramic blade was fairly small and insignificant (3 degrees or so on a normal haircut). I can tell you that is not true. I use this on my own hair and there is a noticeable difference in heat. This one cuts well, but borders uncomfortable after a while. The ceramic never felt uncomfortable on my skin. All in all it is a nice product, but if heat is an issue just buy the ceramic blade version ... show more

Great blade, mine wasn't the new style as displayed in the picture but it doesn't matter I've never had a bad blade from Andis, Ill take it over the Oster blades anyday EXCEPT Oster makes better outliner blades IMO.
