Anchorgel beats anything I have ever used to weight something down. Its easy, basically mess free and fast to gel. I am still able to pick up and move my sons punching bag, but the base is still heavy enough to keep stationary as my son uses it. Great product.

This is a consistent grade, fine quality polymer/sand. Price is outlandish but I guess that's the going rate. It just filled my small stock support bag for shooting.

I purchased this product to assist with weighing down our basketball hoop base. Followed the instructions and it worked exactly as advertised. We also took a small amount and made an extra batch just to see how to reverse the process, and are very happy that it is just as easy to return this to liquid as well. As we are in the snow belt, this will be very convenient at the end of the summer when we move our hoop out of the way for the winter.     • Doesn’t work and leaks
I tried to use this product instead of getting sand. It didn’t work, did not form a gel like advertised and leaked. It oozed out of the sandbag that was provided and caused numerous stains on my concrete patio, also caused some of the concrete to break and flake off leaving very noticeable stains which are an eye sore. Never would buy this again or recommend it to anyone. I actually have to replace the sandbags that came with the umbrella stand because they are no longer useable. I didn't think it would work, you know, since the bottle was so small. But poured the bottle out into the base and poured in the water. Then we waited about 30 minutes and sure enough, the base became heavy and hard to move. We didn't measure the water, we just poured in enough water to fill the base. And we used the entire bottle. I hope dissolving the stuff works as easily as the package described. ... show more
