Description

The Palm South University crew is back, and there’s only one thing on their mind: Spring Break. Parties. Romance. Friendship. Everything seems perfect on the surface. But after last semester, Ashlei finds herself in trouble she can’t get out of on her own, Erin faces a choice that will change her life forever, and J-Love is falling deeper than she ever expected for her sexy teacher. As for Cassie? She’s ready to move on from a rocky first semester of college, and a long-haired musician just might be the way to do it. Besides, what is she supposed to do, keep pining after Adam? He’s dating Skyler, so there’s no way anything will ever happen between them. Or so she thought. Read more

  • A Great Series!!
Episode 1: This is Season Two and you must read Season One first. I couldn't wait for this one. I love reading about this group of friends. In this episode we get Cassie, Jess, and Bear. A couple new characters are added and I can't wait to see where the author goes with them. In the end Erin had me going omg and I definitely want to see what happens with her next. Episode 2: Episode 2 is in the POV of Adam, Erin, and Ashlei. Ashlei and Erin steal the show in this one. I can;t even remember much of what Adam had to say in this episode. Both Ashlei and Erin do some things that were shocking to me. With Erin I had to read some of her parts twice to come to grips with what she did. I am also worried for Ashlei because when all her secrets come out it's going to be huge. Episode 3: This one gives us the POVs of Skyler, Cassie, Jess, and Bear. I love all these characters but if I had to chose I think Cassie and Bear are my favorite. So of cause I loved this one because we get some more Cassie and Bear. It's party time and Cassie gets a little drunk. I really like her and Grayson together but Adam is still confusing. I'm still wondering about a little something that came up with Bear. I can't wait for the next one. Episode 4: Episode Four is Spring Break. I have been waiting for this one. I wanted to see what the crew would be up to on spring break and oh they don't disappoint. We get a lot of POVs in this, which make so much fun to read. There's a lot goign on in this one. I think it was longer than the other episodes but it sucked me right in and was still readable in one sitting. It's a great fun read. The ending has me wanting Episode Five right now. Episode 5: Episode Five is great. It's Family Weekend so we get to see some of our favorite characters' families. In this one we get the POVs of Bear, Skyler, and Ashlei. We get to meet Bear's brother. Bear has a rough time in this one as things with meeting Shawna's parents don't go well and his brother drops some unexpected news on him. Some secrets I have been waiting for to come out, come out in this one. This one is another great episode. Episode 6: This is the last episode in the season. In this episode we get the POVs of Jess, Adam, Bear, Ashlei, Skyler, Erin, and Cassie. Most of the episode have been angst filled, party loving college kids trying to find their way through life. There are heavy things is some of the episode too but nothing as heavy as what happens in this one. It left me wanting more and I hope we get season three soon. ... show more

  • Now I'm addicted
I would say Kandi Steiner upped her game and now I'm addicted but she always has game. Anchor is far more intense though. Flirty, sexy, and sweet...yes. Serious, problematic, and nerve-wracking...also a yes. Kandi Steiner takes us on multiple paths to the same points. Friends on a journey. Not always on the same path but thankfully, they tend to wind up in the same destination. Just with lots of hot, tempting fun on the way. I love the complexities of the multi POV and the way the form the whole story. I thought at first I would merely tolerate it but I am loving the way it comes together. Love Palm South University! ... show more

  • Another page turner
I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying this series. It's a long one but it doesn't feel long when the story keeps you invested. I'm still trying to figure out who my favorite character is. So far I'm loving Bear! About to start the third book of the series and I'm excited to learn what's in store for the crew. ... show more

  • Wow!
3.5 stars! Wow what heavy stuff! So intense. This book follows six college fraternity and sorority students in an episode manner. In this book a lot of heavy issues were dealt with. Makes me realize how sheltered my college was. If you are sensitive reader beware tough issues are dealt with.

  • Love every page!
After a crazy cliffhanger at the end of season 1 I was excited to jump right into season 2 and I am so happy I wasnt disappointed. We get the continued saga of all our favorite characters, Ashlei, Jess, Skyler, Cassie, Erin, Adam and Bear along with meeting some new faces along the way. We still get the angst that everyone experiences in college, first loves, the casual hook up, and my favorite the broken heart and the ever popular Spring Break where what happens in Spring Break stay in Spring Break. I definitely love the episodic format and the different POV's we get weaved throughout the story. I love the way Ms. Steiner makes the stories cohesive which is difficult considering there are so many characters who all have individual and collective story lines. All in all season 2 is a great addition to the series and I cant wait to see what happens next! ... show more

  • Order Them All Before You Start
“We may go through hell when we face life on our own, but together, we can build a bridge over that bitch.” Season two in the Palm South University series blew past my expectations. This was again an amazing and addicting read, and I highly recommend having the whole series on hand before you start these. You will want to jump from one book to another. I have now ordered Season 3 and am dying to get back into these characters (and I only finished Season 2 last night). This deals with some very serious social issues, so if you are not found of those kind of books I would stay clear of this one. The characters face some very serious and scary situations that will make you not want to put this down to see what happened. I have a new respect for Kandi Steiner even though I have just discovered her. At the end of this story she writes a note to the readers and offers support for those who may have been victims like some of characters have been through. She even offers for her readers to reach out to her personally if they needed someone to talk too about these issues. That sealed the deal for me in regards to being a must buy author from now on! I really appreciated the diversity within the cast of characters. This includes a bi-sexual couple, characters of different ethnicities, inter-racial dating, and more. I never felt any of the characters were forced, and I am obsessed with each individual story. Overall, I am addicted and will be reading Season 3 the minute it arrives in my mailbox. ... show more
