I went to the beach in Florida recently with family and fell in love with these plants while I was there. They aren't native to where I live. I had to have one so I got one for a houseplant. I definitely don't have a green thumb. I struggle with my few plants just to keep them alive. Thank goodness for the internet where I can look up everything. But I got a nice sized plant and healthy and green. I was so impressed. I paid more for a thumbnail sized plant from one nursery and this plant palm was a 6 inch plant if I remember correctly. I have had it a couple of months now and it's still just as beautiful. I have moved it outside since I do live in the south and figure it would be fine in the summer. So far so good. I would definitely order from these people again. I got my money's worth this time unlike alot of times when I order and get a tiny little plant for a high price then it dies on me. I need well established plants, lol ... show more

Opened up the box it came in, and found a nice plant. A couple of the ends were a little bent I’m sure from shipping and it moving around in the box. Soil was moist as if it was watered before shipping. It was in great health. I Recommend repotting in a new bigger pot in cactus soil after you get it. Great palm!! ... show more

Sago Palm is my favorite plant for its low maintenance, beauty and size capabilities. Will need to repot mine soon. Figured out I could order them online as they’ve been super difficult to find in retail in the recent few years. Looking forward to it growing massive!

I haven't repotted it yet, because I was waiting on fall, when it goes dormant. Well, I'm glad I didn't shock it, because it started to sprout new fronds 2 weeks after I got it. So I just sat it on the pot that I will be transferring it to and let it do it's thing (for now) I just water every few days because it's so hot and dry and it dries out pretty fast in this weather. When I put it in it's new pot I won't have to water it as much, because the soil won't dry out as fast. But right now I'm just gonna let her do what she do. 😍😍 ... show more

The plant I received is not what was shown on the item description. While it is a nice plant, it's not what I paid for. There is no option to contact the seller or return the product. Sadly, this was a gift for someone and I'm very disappointed that I didn't get the product that I paid for.

Great King Sago plant. Here's the story: Researching retirement locations. Looking in the southwest and my wife wants our location climate to be able to sustain a "pineapple tree" somewhere on the property. I went looking for a "pineapple tree" plant (King Sago). Found this one to surprise her and we now keep it in the home office as our motivation towards our retirement goals. Stay focused! I was concerned about some of the reviews regarding the pot it was shipped in. Our pot, plant, and soil were in perfect condition, no issues. We will re-pot it as it grows.
