This brought lots of smiles and laughs as the kids tried this and quickly got the hang of it. Double-check the instructions as you set up and ensure the elastic cord gets seated properly to ensure the collapsible pieces remain stiff/straight while you're using it. Though it doesn't bother the kids, the end cap did crack on the first day and the loop itself looks like the plastic is stressed. I bought this for my kids because it reminded me of my skip it from when I was growing up. It is collapsible which may effect it's durability, but worked well when I tested it. It's definitely harder for my kids but once they practice more they will likely get the hang of it

It works but it's not as sturdy as the original one. It takes a little more effort to get it going. My daughter likes it but she complains that it isn't comfortable around her ankle. It's not leaving a mark or anything though.

We used to do this all the time as a kid but it wasn't so sophisticated. We used to use a string and a ball. Started to jump with this...... Ouch. Tried a few more times with the same results. Got out one rotation and it stopped. ( Must swing other foot ) One rotation, swing .... Ouch. I've abused myself enough for today!! Next day had a grandkid watch and laugh. She tried a few times and went away crying. While watching her I saw what I was doing wrong. Instead of swinging my foot I just step to the right. Got four rotations and then left foot forgot to jump. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. But now I have mastered this fun and exciting toy. ... show more

If anything brings back memories quite like a “skip Bo” I’d be surprised. I got this for my daughter and immediately got roped into a skip contest which of course, I won!! Haha. These never get old, this one is well made and lights up.

I use this skip it more than my son. It's fun and a great way to get in some quick cardio! He also enjoys playing around with it and loves the fact that it lights up. Despite the padding for the ankle loop, I encourage all who use it to were long socks to prevent any excessive rubbing that may irritate the skin. Lastly, one thing that makes this product amazing is the portability and storage back that it easily fits in so you won't have to worry about taking up too much closet space! ... show more
