The first time putting it up was a funny experience (for those watching my no-constructing-skills struggle). Once you get one pole in, it's a piece of cake. Easy to put up and take down. We didn't have batteries available for the lights but my Granddaughter did not even notice. It's fairly sturdy (metal collapsible rods), but if you have a spirited child, it has the potential to collapse. It's almost happened a few times, but has survived. Now when she comes visit, it's "where's my castle, please!" and then hi Grandmama!! LOL Such a fun purchase!! ... show more
