This tattoo machine is the first ambition brand machine that I have worked with. I'm still a noob to the tattooing industry, but I am learning little by little. One of the interesting things about this particular machine is the shape. Instead of the long cylindrical shape of most machines this one is more of a short egg shape. It makes the need for copious amounts of rap unnecessary to get the proper grip, especially for large handed individuals. It is virtually silent, and works exceptionally well with a off machine power supply. I use a forearm mounted power supply that runs directly to the machine in my hand. This gives me the maximum maneuverability while transferring the bulk of the weight to my forearm versus being in my hand. I’ve been looking for a smaller tattoo machine for a while and this one was exactly what I needed. Very simple to use, though I did try it out on my practice skins first. Weighs hardly anything but gives you smooth lines. Very easy to maneuver.
