This comforter perfectly fit the Queen-size Duvet covers I ordered. It washes very well, as I've had the opportunity to try out multiple times in the few months of ownership thanks to a new, adorable, but not yet fully-potty-trained Vizsla puppy. Our last comforter had the tendency for the batting to clump and become progressively less comfortable with each wash, this one, thankfully has maintained it's integrity through each (and every) cycle. Coverless, its very soft and could easily be used on its own. My only complaint is that I wish I had chosen the lighter comforter. I tend to run warm and with a husband and puppy in bed with me, this comforter can retain heat a little more than I'd like. This blanket (the warm version) is actually pretty great! It is a heavier blanket, which I anticipated. The blanket itself is soft and cozy, though we do use a cover over it as well to add longevity.
