These are a good sized puppy pad. They may also be used when changing babies, or as a bed pad for a person when needed. They are a good quality, and hold a good amount of liquids. I have large dogs and the pads work well for them. I check the "potty place" often and replace the used pads often. If you don't check and replace pads they will become very soggy and may leak liquids on the floor or run off the pad onto the floor. It is much better to not let the pads become soaked. I have received a few boxes that had some pads with tiny holes in the plastic bottom of the pads and a few pads that slipped by quality control. Those are exceptions though. I have been using these puppy pads for many years and many dogs and that alone is the best recommendation I can give. I have used and am using them with German Shepherds, Malinois, Kangle, and Great Pyrenese, LGD. I prefer these puppy pads over the others I have tried. They are good sized, economical, hold the eliminations well. Delivery is quick, the puppy pads are great, the puppies and dogs are happy, and I am very happy. I have purchased the larger and smaller sizes. I prefer the small size bc it is a little cheaper, I can put down 4, and change single ones as needed. As you can see we have a husky puppy, and sometimes she has really big pees, based on this and the fact that I don’t throw them away with 1 pee tells me they have a high hold capacity. The pads are soft. Like I mentioned they are durable, I don’t pick them up right away, Maple (the puppy), is able to use them multiple times without any liquid spilling out. As a matter of fact she sometimes misses and pees right at the edge and the pad does a very decent job at catching it. The pads are not sticky on either side, this means they don’t attach to her paws and get moved, nor do they cause any damage to the floor (even when she kisses and it goes under). Nothing special about the color… it’s a potty pad. Odor absorption is good (I mean… it depends on your dogs pee and their stink bombs) for what it is dealing with….AND they themselves do not have any funky odors to them (some other manufacturers will smell like chemicals). Cat litter box is placed on a large drip tray - for months, my senior female cat (19) has been peeing outside the litter box - doesn't matter the type as we've switched to our 4th box, an automatic one that cleans after every use and change litter every 2-3 days. I've started thinking it had something to do with climbing into a litter box but that's neither here nor there. To ensure she doesn't make a mess, I started placing 2 of these on the drop tray under the box and change out routinely as they are an affordable option to maintain a clean space. The square shape fits to cover the entire when two are used side by side. It is quick drying so there isn't tracking of pee everywhere (no pee paw prints on the pad) but because it's car urine, it doesn't combat the ammonia scent and for that we now use a vent out the window near the litterbox. The only complaint on these pads, no sticky tabs. I have an Alabai puppy and he was blasting through the store brand pads. Way too much fluid from his large puppy bladder. These pads stopped the urine from soaking through and provided a large area for position mistakes.

The media could not be loaded. WOW! So I bought these to try out disposable litter boxes for the first time because we keep them in a new wooden cabinet enclosure and of course don’t want it ruined. We knew we did not want something that would risk that. Amazon products are always impressive so I figured it was a no brainer to try these, and here we are. Never thought my future had mr making long video’s on pee pads to show y’all these are the real deal-haha. Many years ago I worked as a vet tech, fostered homeless animals, and had a medium sized dog with kidney failure of my own so you can only imagine my experience with pee pads. I also have been raising five daughters, two stepdaughters, two dogs and two cats-I’m literally always cleaning. If only these were around 25 years ago! As a busy mom of seven I’ll be using these for a million things now too! They are amazing and I can prove it! I just did an experiment with 5 cups of water-did them in three separate cups because I had to pour left handed and have terrible grip on that side so I didn't want to drop it. I have a brand name decently thick paper towels under the pad to show if moisture seeps through. I did the experiment at a craft counter because our granite in the kitchen would not show if it was wet. Three things need to be mentioned: 1. There are a few random imprints on the paper towels but thats not moisture-they came right off the roll that way. 2. There is a water drop on the counter afterwards…but thats from my doing not the pad. I awkwardly flipped it up before it soaked in up in that corner. 3. The second video is about a minute after the first. I had to move closer to show this but had my toddler on the floor with toys I did not want to step on-all you parents will relate. I am not part of some group trying to make sales and am not paid to do this review. I just felt it was helpful to someone who was like me a few days ago scrolling through 547.9 different products playing roulette hoping I didnt waste hard earned money and wreck my beautiful cabinet. I obviously recommend these and Ill be keeping in subscribe and save monthly. There was absolutely zero soak through, the gel is fast acting but obviously it takes a short time to soak in once its up to 5+ cups- haha. Im thinking it might hold 6 cups even but it wont let me post two videos though. Check it out! ... show more

Out kittens were just leaning to eat solid food and get it everywhere. These are cheap and make clean up easy. The soak up our needs but not sure how they would handle puppy pee. They seem a bit thin for that. They don’t leak threw that we have experienced.
