Unfortunately, my doctor has me using Miralax daily. It’s expensive tough, especially if you use it daily forever. I tried this generic and it works just as well as the name brand. I subscribe so I never run out. I only gave it three stars for traveling because it’s messy. No matter how careful I am. I still end up with powder on my countertop. However, when I do travel, because I don’t want to carry the big bottle with me, I put one dose in a plastic pill pouch and take one for each day that I’m going to be gone. What I do at home, so that I’m not constantly making a mess, is make multiple doses at one time. I’ve done it in a liter bottle before and I’ve also used a shaker bottle. It makes taking it a lot easier because it’s premixed so I can go in the kitchen and drink a it without having to mix it up, which makes me a lot more likely to take it. ... show more

Used this for my colonoscopy prep and it worked wonderfully. I was a little hesitant as my Dr recommended Miralax but I called them and they said it’s exactly the same. I mixed with a few different flavors of Gatorade Zero and this has absolutely no flavor. It does change the texture a bit. Had my last movement exactly four hours before my procedure and it was pure Gatorade/ClearLax. Doctor said my colon was clean as a whistle.
