As you know, this is generic Zyrtec. I've used Zyrtec, I've used Walmart's cetirizine (88 cents for 14 tablets), I've used Sam's Club cetirizine (2 bottles of 90 tablets for $15), but guess what? This one works the best for me. Granted, only my nose gets affected during allergy season and nothing else, but it does the job and it does it well. I think it also works better than Claritin/loratadine. Plus, 90 tablets for $3? You can't beat it. I am also a family medicine provider, and I bought some to keep stocked in the clinic to give to patients. The ones who have received it think it works well, although I haven't heard how they feel it compares to the brand name of Zyrtec ... show more

As a generic I attest that Basic Care all day allergy works just as well as the name brands costing 10 times as much. I suffer horribly with both seasonal and pet allergies throughout the year but by just taking one of these as directed it practically eliminates all of my symptoms, from the itchy eyes to the scratchy throat. ... show more

Pretty good; it's really hard to find an allergy med that really works very well. but this seems to help somewhat. I live in the dry Southwest, and when the wind blows the dust and pollen up, nothing helps!!
