If you have a steel place to stick this to, it's a nice light for the needle end of a sewing machine or for a desk just where you want some more light. It runs off of 110V so no chargers or cables are needed and has a simple toggle off/on switch. It's bright but not too bright for close up work. The only drawback is if your machine or table doesn't have any steel for the magnet to stick to. To solve this, a metal disk and 2 pieces of round tape are supplied. The media could not be loaded. This is a really nice magnetic mount light. It comes with the corded light, which is very bright, two metal discs and two mounting stickers. The discs were easy to mount and I stuck mine to the back of my sewing machine. I like that they give you two discs so that I can move the light and use it in different places. The light itself is top-heavy, so you really do need the magnets for mounting the base either upright, or sideways as shown on my sewing machine. However, if you mount it sideways because it is top heavy, the light will fall off if you do not place the base of it facing upright and then move the light sideways to the direction you need it to go. I used my sewing machine to see if the light would vibrate off, and it stayed in place. It does light up the area nicely, and since I have no overhead lighting directly above my sewing area, it's nice to have this to give a little extra light without taking up space on my sewing table. The cord is long, so that helps when you have to find an outlet a bit of distance away. This is a great option at an affordable price when you need some extra brightness and light in an area, but don't have a lot of space for a lamp. ... show more

I so a lot and I love how this light it's easily Attach to my machine and I am able to move it in different directions. It is very bright which I need because I sew late at night. I am very happy with this light and happily recommend.

This light is really bright. My eyesight is horrible, and this really helps me to see better while sewing and working on other craft projects. The arm is super flexible and can be bent and turned in any direction.

This was just the light I needed for my mom’s old singer sewing machine that I inherited. I think that her machine was made before they put lights in them, so I really needed a light. This one has a magnet, so it really sticks well to the old metal machines. The light is bright, and the arm is easy to bend and manipulate into the perfect position for lighting your work.
