I have been looking to get some houseplants for a few months. I looked at the big box retailers but was put off by the prices. I decided to check with "Uncle Jeff" and was pleasantly surprised at the offerings. I ordered a 4-pack of assorted plants. I got one each of Dracaena, Dieffenbachia, Croton, and Pothos. The box the arrived in was clearly marked as to which direction was "up". There were cutout handles, which provided air. Inside the box, the plants were each wrapped in brown paper, with a tall stick, maybe to keep them from falling over, but they were tightly packed so there was little chance of that. Each plant also had a plastic wrap at the soil level, to avoid having soil spillage. All 4 plants were damp to the touch on the soil. They all were healthy and happy. I let them sit out in their pots for a few days before transplanting them into the pots I had. I've had them for about a month now, and they are all doing well. The plants that are received turned out good they weren't damaged or anything. They didn't really come with instructions but there was some stuff on the side that tells you what kind of plants you have as well as some general care instructions. The part that I do not like is it includes an insert that says you get access to a free plant app however once you scan and sign up it cost like $30 a year for the app if you're going to offer a trial then say trial don't say that the app is free and then charge for it once you sign up I think that was kind of shady. 1 plant took a beating on the way here or immediately before they boxed it and 2 of my plants are very similar. I am fine with that since the price was low but I would tell you what my my two similar plants are but instead of tags or watering instructions I’m given the link to a $30 a year app to identify my plants…. I personally think that’s the cheapest BS I’ve ever received. I’m sick of scanning at codes because a company is that lazy. ... show more

The plants are so beautiful and delivered in convenient packaging. To add, the packaging was durable and there was no damage on the plants. All 3 plants are alive and seem to be thriving! The soil is well moisturized and they are all planted in the easy draining pots. They are all a great, medium-somewhat small size and fit well in my room. Hope this helps! I love the plants that I received in my 4 pack. I received a Golden Pothos, Swiss Cheese vine, Fiddle leaf fig and a baby rubber plant. The order shipped from California to me in Texas vis UPS. The plants were packaged very well, survived the heat and arrived in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend and I will probably order more in the future! Overall I'm happy given the price, but I really was hoping for 3 different types and I got 2 of the same. Other than that plants were well packaged and delivered. Hard to complain too much since they never claim you'll get 3 unique plants but I would've liked that too be a bit more clear.

After UPS drove around with my plants for two weeks, they finally arrived in poor condition at no fault of the company. This was all UPS. I contacted the Altman Plant company and told them that one of the plants was definitely not going to make it and asked that only that plant be replaced.
