Set this freezer to Eco-mode, and Low. WITH Minimum power used for this freezer, satisfied to -4 degrees and kept within 5 degrees all day. MY SENARIO: I used this freezer on eco-mode (set to -4 degrees) with a 53 liter fridge on eco-mode (set to 28 degrees) connected to a near-dead Ecoflow pro max battery but nearly-full charged second battery connected, and on a mostly sunny day using a 160 watt solar panel both the fridge & freezer kept satisfied to their cooling settings and the ecoflow pro max increased another 15% in battery storage. ... show more

This is so much more than just a regular cooler. It doesn’t require ice to get the job done! It doubles as a refrigerator and a freezer. This is perfect for road trips, camping, tailgate parties, and more. And when it’s not in use on the road, it will also come in handy at home. I have a stand-up deep freezer in my basement that died. Sometimes my kitchen freezer doesn’t have enough room in it after grocery shopping. This will provide some extra temporary freezer storage, when needed. It will also save the day if my kitchen fridge or freezer ever goes out so the most important/expensive items can be saved. The compressor does add a bit of weight to this. When full, it can be a little difficult for me to lift and move. If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be to add wheels and a handle so it could be rolled from place to place. ... show more

O recently ordered this great Alpicool 12 volt portable refrigerator for our college aged child. This is a 16-quart portable refrigerator that's really handy for trips, camping, or just keeping things refrigerated when you're on the go. This refrigerator has indented built-in handles on either side of the long end of the cooler, making it really easy to carry. Although this is a medium sized portable refrigerator/cooler, One thing we like about this item is that it has an anti-tilt design. This refrigerator is something we're glad to have because it means we don't have to stop for cold drinks or sandwiches on our way to our vacation. This refrigerator is great for people who are traveling longer distances, like we do. It's also great for people who are camping who want a refrigerator/cooler for outdoor use. This unit has a 16-quart capacity, and can hold 3 six-packs of soda pop along with other small items, like sandwiches. This unit is best suited to larger vehicles because it takes up quite a bit of room, so there needs to be adequate space in the vehicle. It measures 23.7 inches long by 12.9 inches wide by 10.35 inches high. We have actual outlets in the back of our van, so we can plug this into our vehicle either by the lighter receptacle outlet in the front of our vehicle, or the AC outlet in the back. We cutie also use a solar outlet when we use it outside. This unit can be used as a refrigerator but it also can function as a freezer because it can go as low as -4 degrees fahrenheit. This portable refrigerator comes with an easy to read user manual, a AC power cord, and a DC power cord. The control panel is on the top of the unit is which has a power on/off button, as well as an LED read-out that shows the temperature. It has an up arrow and down arrow to either decrease the temperature or increase it. This unit is very intuitive to use. If you do a lot of camping or traveling, this is a great item to have. It's also going to be perfect for outdoor entertaining.
