Style Name: ONLY Fits Bag Boy Quad and Tri-Swivel
Rather than purchase an entire remote controlled cart and have a perfectly good $250 BagBoy sitting in my attic I decided to go for the Alphard Club Booster and use it with my cart. It was not a simple task to install the brackets but I have no regrets. This has made walking the course a total joy. Originally, I bought it for the many hills I was pushing up against on 90 degree days. But now the benefits it provides are more than just relief from exhaustion. I no longer have to schlep my cart with me when I search for balls in the rough or in bushes. Now I hike freely wherever necessary and when I find my ball I call the cart to where I am. All my clubs are there to choose from. The remote is simple to use and the wheels are responsive and precise. When I finish up on the green my cart can "meet me" on the way to the next hole. No need for me to retrieve it and move on. The remote is all I'd use because it is so easy to control on the fairways. And around the green you'd need to use the remote anyway to avoid traps and the green surface itself. This remote will change your game. Not your score, necessarily, but definitely your enjoyment. ... show more

  • This is impressive!
Style Name: ONLY Fits Caddy Tek and Tour Trek
I bought this along with the Tether Follow System and installed it on a CaddyTek v8 3 wheel swivel cart. I put it all together this weekend which was pretty simple to do. I tested it out around the neighborhood using both the remote and the tether system. I was immediately impressed how easy it is to control the cart with the remote and also how well the cart follows you using the tether system. I played 18 holes today with it for the first time using the tether almost the entire time and was very impressed with it. I knew it did well around my neighborhood from testing it but I was truly surprised how well it handled all of the terrain walking the entire course. There are 5 LED’s to show the battery life and at the end of the round it still had 4 lights of battery meaning I still had over 60% battery! If you’re interested in a powered push cart with hands free following, this is it! ... show more

  • Awesome Machine
Style Name: ONLY Fits Sun Mountain V1, GT, GX
I had reservations about paying so much for the wheels when I had seen other carts comparably priced. LOVE this machine. I have a Sun Mountain Speed cart I love, the wheels make this AWESOME. Definitely need the wheelie bars. Have the remote is so easy to use. The 15 & 30 ft feature pretty cool. Set was easy. Took 10 mins max. Didn't need instructions . Very straight forward. But did need help w wheelie bars. ... show more

  • Works as advertised
Style Name: ONLY Fits Bag Boy Quad and Tri-Swivel
I’ve played twice so far using my V2. The controls are intuitive and I’ve been happy with the performance. I converted my Bagboy quad xl and the conversion wasn’t the 15 minutes the company claims. No directions come with the product so you must use the video for guidance. This entails rewinding and trying to figure out what is back and front. Maybe it’s just me but the conversion took close to an hour and a half. Even so, I am giving this product 5 stars. I’ve ordered the front swivel wheels. Not absolutely necessary but it should help with tight turns. ... show more

  • Better than I ever imagined!
Style Name: ONLY Fits Rovic RV1S and RV1C
I held off buying one of these until I turned 50 for fear of my buddies giving me a hard time about it, now they can’t stop looking at me and asking questions. I paired it with a Rovic cart and couldn’t be any happier. Thank you Alphard!

  • Amazing product
Everything I had hoped for. This is transformational. Walking is the way to go without pushing, carrying, or paying for a caddie. Highly recommended.

  • Amazing, but not without some flaws
Style Name: ONLY Fits Caddy Tek and Tour Trek
I'm in my mid 30's and walk a lot and have wanted an electric push cart for a while now. Finally bit the bullet and got the Club Booster V2 as well as the Tether Follow Sensor (TFS - Sold Separately). $1000 later I must say overall this thing is bad ass. I've only played with it a few times but will share my feedback thus far: Pros: I bought this to hoping it would save my back from hurting from pushing the cart around my hilly course (about an 8 miles course). I will say I noticed a HUGE difference in my stamina and overall energy throughout the round was amazing. Normally I'd be getting fatigued by the end of the front 9 (and I'm in decent shape), but now with this thing I'm teeing off on 18 feeling like I could walk another 9. That in itself was huge for me because I can play better golf all around now and not start blowing up after hole 13 because I was getting tired. Another thing that is pretty sweet is with the tether I can hold a beer and scarf down a hotdog after I make the turn, all the while my bag just follows right behind me. Overall, for the price and the fact that it can retrofit the push cart you have, you can't go wrong with this thing. It goes up pretty steep hills but won't make it if there is mud obviously. Really love that I can leave the cart somewhere, go look for a ball or just go walk across the green to putt and I don't have to walk back to the cart, I can just have it drive to the next hole. Now to the Cons: Learn from my mistakes and do not take this thing out to the course day 1 without taking some time to play around and get comfortable with it. I made the mistake of just throwing it together in the parking lot and I hadn't realized the Tether system takes priority control over the remote, and when I first tried walking with it, the tether wasn't level and the thing took off and I couldn't control it and it basically almost crashed in the parking lot...total user error but this thing does have a mind of it's own sometimes. Once you get used to it it's easy though. I did have another problem once while it was going up a hill it couldn't make it so I had to push but then the wheels started spinning in opposite directions and then the entire thing stopped working. I literally had to let the rest of my group go on without me, and I had to take the cart off the club booster and basically take everything apart, took out the battery and put it back together (5 painful minutes later) and it started working again. Another Con I see is that with the tether it doesn't follow you as quickly and I'm a fast walker so I have had the magnetic tether disconnect because I was walking too fast. Also the tether follow sensor has seemed to malfunction a few times if making turns...so it seems you really just need to be extremely cautious and careful when walking with the tether. Overall, I think the $1000 was worth it as long as this thing will hold up over the years. ... show more
