The instructions were terrible, and printed on the smallest font I think you could possible find. I wasn't sure if this desk would have stability. Please to say it's amazingly stable. The legs and feet are kinda heavy, adds to it being stable. Assembly is easy, if you understand Chiney direction. I have the 24x48" Its a great desk for the money and a good BUY. ***** I am happy. Hope this helps

it is cheap but it looks good and it's sturdy for the price. my hands hurt using the phillips head screwdriver they give you though so use one with a bigger handle. it goes up and down very smoothly. i use it with both an office chair and a walking pad and its comfortable. im around 5'11" so YMMV but should fit about everybody ... show more

This motorized desk goes lower than most. If you like to sit low to the ground or you are height challenged; this is a really affordable desk. I purchased 48x24, which the top arrive in on piece. So there are no seams. Putting desk together was intuitive for me. Pay attention where the hole for the controller are in relation to the motor drive. (where the holes are drilled for controller to be mounted underside desktop board) I did have a problem with the frame, but Amazon sent me a replacement piece. This desk does not have very many parts which is a relief - I can't stand building complicated equipment. The instructions are mostly clear, but a little muddy around where the hexagonal bar that controls the moving parts is attached. I'm 5'9" and this desk raises much higher than I need it to when extended to full height, so it is likely to be a good fit even for those taller than myself. Other reviews mention not getting a desk surface with a cable management hole, but mine came with it. I appreciate that the entire surface is one piece, no messing around trying to fit three or more panels of MDF together with screws and hope! I will use this desk with the portable treadmill I've got on the way. I can't wait to be able to be attentive to my work without being chained into my chair! Standing doesn't cut it for me, I have to move, and this desk is part of a great solution for me. ... show more
