Description

The Allen Premier QR hitch rack is the perfect way to transport your bicycles on road trips or camping excursions. The quick install locking hitch insert installs into your receiver hitch wobble free without needing any tools to secure. Dual compound tie down cradles and quick secure straps secure and protect your bicycles. The rack incorporates easy to use folding carry arms that quickly and conveniently drop out of the way when not in use. The rack also tilts back for easy lift gate access. A large padded spine shield protects your bicycles from the rack, and an included strap and padded cam buckle help to keep everything in place when you're driving. An extra-long hitch insert on the 400QR clears most rear mounted spare tires, and the rack lays Completely flat to allow rear access. Important installation note: never use on trailers.

I don’t write reviews but felt compelled in this case. Rack is a solid value and holds an assortment of bicycles. Robust and simple design. No need to buy an other bike frame adapter to make it fit. Locking mount is an added plus.

Easy to set up. Very well built. I have 35” tires with an extender for the backup camera and this fit no problem. Love that you don’t need tools to install the lock every time (my old one required a wrench to install in the trailer hitch). I can have this off my Jeep in 30 seconds. I was pretty sure based on reviews that I would need a hitch extension to clear my 35” spare (Jeep JLU), but there was plenty of room. This bike rack is excellent quality, especially considering the price. I love that I can swing it down to open the tailgate. I originally looked for a swing away rack (for 3 bikes) that would allow me to keep the bikes mounted and still access the trunk, but the one I tried out was a piece of junk and 3x the price of this one. For the price point I was not expecting something thoughtfully designed and well put together. We drove from Nashville to Ontario and back with 3 bikes on the back of a 2022 outer banks bronco with no issues. It did require some tube extensions to get the kids bikes on. I was able to get into the back gate of the bronco by using the tilt function although it’s quite heavy when loaded with bikes. The tightening and lock functions work well. It does block the sensors on the bronco as expected. We’ve only used it for the one trip so I will update if something changes but for the money it’s definitely served our purpose. I’m critical of design and manufacturing issues and I couldn’t find any glaring flaws with this one. ... show more
