Very quite! 6-7 degree temp difference from top section to lower section(top cooler than bottom). Shelves are great, very sturdy, even when full, like how they extend out completely so you can see everything on the shelf. Had a little odor, but, not that bad like other reviewers.     • Just What I Needed
Very nice wine cooler. I wanted a cooler with a larger capacity than my old Vintage Keeper. This meets my needs. The 177 bottle capacity is subject to what types of wine you're storing, The cooler comes ready to plug in with the exception of installing the optional handles. They do recommend that you let the unit sit for a couple of hours before turning it on. It appears to be a well built and an attractive appliance. Compressor warranty covers 5 years which is good. My old cooler's compressor went out after only a year, but luckily still under warranty. I looked at other coolers before deciding on the Allavino. I think it compares favorably pricewise and reviews with the ones sold by big box stores. Happy with the price and appearance. It is a nice addition to our dining area. It is fairly quiet, but it cycles between 3-4 degrees. When the compressor begins it's noticeable, but only lasts for a few seconds. The unit is 300 lbs. I would suggest a white glove delivery option for large appliances. You'll need help moving it even with an appliance dolly. I talked the delivery guy into helping me get it into the house. Capacity as advertised and sharp looking (though I have it in my basement so that's wasted on me). Keeping my bottles cool and happy. I love that it takes up so little floor space yet holds so many bottles.

I have had this wine fridge for less than a year and it is failing. Will not allow temperature adjustment in one zone and ice is forming on coils.

After receiving the first one which was defective, and a lot of back and forth with the supplier, they finally approved the replacement with white glove delivery. The 2nd one is working quietly. There continues to be an odor from the sealer used on wood shelves, but after a few weeks it seems to be dissipating. ... show more
