I bought this for about $17 after 2 sales: a promotion and coupon. You literally cannot bea this value. It's the 4K Max, so it has WiFi 6E support and the fastest processor out of all the streaming sticks, so you'll never be disappointed with the speed of the OS and internet (assuming you have WiFi 6 internet). Also, this is very power efficient. I measured about 2.5 Watts maximum when using this. To me, that is super efficient and it has no lag. I even tried powering this just off of my projector USB port, and it was only pulling 0.5 Watts (that's crazy). It does say that the power is limited, but I didn't notice any functionality loss: just a little lag and slower loading times. But yeah, this is better than. Roku, in my opinion. It runs in Android, so you can sideload applications for further apps you want to add for whatever use case. It has 16GB of internal storage, which is much more than any other streaming stick. So far my mother loves this streaming choice as her go to tv show watching maratons. Her old tv streaming box broke previously, so i decided to try this one out and so far its absoutely perfectly. Literally exactly what my old mother needs, cause shes not really good with using a computer to watch shows, so instead she can just click with her tv and understand enough of the basics to navigate since this streaming item firestick is super straight forward but extremely basic simple set-up when its your first time. But anyways, it gets the job done more than enough. My mother is extremely happy and distracted with her new fun gift so i am more than grateful for the results this purchase brought me. ITS LIIIIITTTTTTT !!! As for the remote: Lots of useful shortcut buttons if you're well adjusted to knowing how to use casual streaming items and such. Its also voice activated which is useful for those that know those functions as well, im personally not familar with it, and my mother doesn't seem to need it but incase if she ever does its there! the buttons are very polished, well designed and still pretty good for its pricing range. The transitions on this thing are fast and smooth and the boot-up is fast and smooth as well. Has Wi-Fi 6 technology as well as DolbyVision and Dolby Digital Plus for the best picture and sound quality available. Lots of storage for apps and gb within the apps. Kodi runs great on it as well as Prime. Gotta love the new Ambient Display (moving waves, lava, clouds, butterfly, etc) for the screensaver. I swear by the firestick. I got this for my elderly mother who has a hard time navigating through the electronic world. With the fire stick all the streaming channels can be accessed from one single platform. She has had a real hard time with her smart TV going in and out of apps. Also it will have a better wifi connection since her room is in the back of the house then her TV would. And last it has voice command which is perfect for the elderly.
